I was born a Muslim in Iraq. I was worried and depressed, sitting and looking at the Tigris River in my city.Jesus' face appeared to me in the water and told me. "Son, you're not alone" And now I'm a Christian, and I pray every day at the edge of the river.Thank you Jesus for this grace. I'm not alone right now. Jesus is with me.

My brother was diagnosed with leukemia at the beginning of January 2024. He should have had chemo, but his immune system was decreasing. only the power and miracles that we as a family hope for. this song is very touching. Lord i need u to heal my brother illness. 🙏

I remember when I lost my father and I was almost loosing my mum I sung this song prayerfully in tears and God came for my rescue..

My daughter had her first Eucharist yesterday and they were playing this song as she went up to receive Jesus. It was so beautiful.

During my darkest time, I used to sing or hum this song with much conviction, many with tears in my eyes. I recall hearing a silent voice saying, "I will make everything new." Indeed, everything was made new. Lord, I thank, love, and praise you. I pray that nothing will ever separate me from you.

I was introduced to Matt & this song in Dec 2015 when the last & most painful part of my divorce occurred. I lived in the phrase, "when I cannot stand I'll fall on you!" I cried out my pain, anger, loss, anguish. I prayed for myself & had others praying for me... but in the end, the peace came, when I fell on God because I was so broken I could not even stand!! Matt, thanks so much for being an instrument of God for healing in our lives!!

I loved at the end how Matt humbly just walks off leaving the praise and worship for God's glory by His people.
The absolute understanding that he submits himself to be used as a tool by God.

11 days until I get to see Matt live in concert in Vancouver Washington on September 16th with a preshow meet and greet. I'm going to be bringing along a 7yr old little boy who's autistic, and he absolutely loves Matt's music too. He doesn't know yet because it's an early birthday present. You should see him singing, Lord I Need You. Absolutely one of the most precious moments you'll ever witness. I'm so excited and so very blessed! 🙌 🙌

I sing this song over and over every time I feel distressed and cry out to the Lord and He delivers me from my troubles! I will not turn to anyone but you Lord and I give you all the praise and glory forever and ever Amen!
