I’ll tell you what happened between 3 and 4: the writers/directors lost their fucking minds.
  • @apok1980
Machines can rebuild human bodies, but can’t create Nuclear Fusion?
  • @Armistice0
Naobi: while speaking directly to a dude who literally came back yet again from the dead in every conceivable way to save humanity "I don't believe in The One."

The gap between Matrix 3 and Matrix 4 would make a awesome series or game!!!
  • The entire Matrix 4 is a simulation. Before Matrix 4 he was in other versions of this simulation. "Do you know how many times we have gone through this" "For years we tried to activate you" Quotes from Analyst Matrix 4. Before Matrix 4 he was the Baba Yaga. That's my canon anyway. Great videos by the way 👍

The Matrix 4 will join Rocky V as movies whose names we do not speak.

The Architect tells Neo "There are levels of survival we are prepared to accept" when Neo proposes he refuse to return to the Source. Clearly, some of the machines WEREN'T prepared to accept it. Maybe the Architect couldn't see this, because he was hyperfocused only on his own role of overseeing the Matrix and didn't understand behaviors other programs might display from a different point of view.

I mean, it does add up. I just wish they went better about it. Keep Neo's powers and identity more of a secret till the climax, like how they did it in the first movie, without making it so similar to the first movie. Have an entirely different crew deal with the matrix and figure out who he is, instead of just knowing who he is and he stumbles through the movie trying to do stuff he used to but can't.
  • @sugarpolecat4781
this is way better explanation than what the movie managed to do, I'm amazed!
  • @TheBigExclusive
It's a shame this movie was made with no love. At the core of Matrix 4, there seems to be an interesting story. But the rest of the movie was so badly made, and the director publicly said they didn't want to make Matrix 4. That they were forced by the Studio to do it.
  • @mkevilempire
I have to agree with many commenters. As much as I liked the trilogy and all the concepts, I didn't think I would learn new aspects about it twenty years later. Confirms how they are among the best movies ever made, however you look at it
  • @words4eternity
A big thumbs for a simple explanation to a complicated story line.
  • @VesperanceRising
5:12 it sure does interesting lol But seriously: keep it up brother, i LOVE this stuff!
  • Bugs having blue hair just like the analyst having blue glasses was always questionable to me. 🤔
  • @nitemare1525
Amazing channel, wow ive never thought about this before thank you for all you do ❤
  • @ReinoldFZ
The architect had no authority to release humanity, I understood the peace was accorded with the machines as a whole. As the architect said most machines were fine having a certain level of survival.
  • @keenfire8151
I'd love to see previous versions of the Matrix as their own standalone movies.
  • @tomdeluca5946
If we ever get a matrix 5 i would love to see more information about the machine civil war
