Wild Garlic

Published 2023-03-22
In Ohio Wild Garlic starts coming out in early to mid March... it can be dried and used all season long.... use just as you woukd any garlic, chives or green onion.

Garlic is among the most studied medicanals, known for its antibacterial, antibiotic and possibly antiviral properties, and contains vitamins A and C, calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium and copper. Studies have also shown that it may help reduce blood pressure.

A few nibbles are shown to increase energy and raise alertness more effectively than a cup of coffee.

I "discovered" this by mowing an area with the smell going everywhere. I knew it existed, but, never looked for it. I read some (this was before YT and the Internet) then began looking. Good video with important details. Thanks.

I could not think what that stuff was I see it everywhere
  • Darren thinks I’m crazy because as I walked thru the yard today I looked and said I wonder what this is, I wonder what that is? I’m studying the book of remedies. I want to dehydrate some wild edibles for meds. You know in case China decides to cut off our supply. If we end up at war with them they most definitely will. Isn’t it stupid that we get our meds from our biggest adversary. 🤦‍♀️
