It helps us to build this channel into something special. We're transforming this 90 acre property into a self reliant homestead and farm stay vacation rental. We're building infrastructure to accomodate future growth such as barns, duck house, 7 coop chicken house, water hydrants, planting an orchard, building a garden etc. Chickens, ducks, geese, mini pigs, rabbits, a bunch of barn cats and two old english sheepdogs make up our team here at the farm. • That pond looks really nice, the ducks will eventually get in the more they see the geese having fun, and if not it's their loss haha.
  • All I can say is oh my how beautiful your pond is, and the geese paddling in it is like a postcard. You have done an amazing job, naughty ducks will go in next time, fingers crossed. I may of picked one up and put him or her in, but that’s just me.. Thank you again for sharing, just so beautiful 😻

Stayed up past my bedtime just to watch your video! ha Its a fantastic pond. The geese looked like they were having a good time. You should be proud. The ducks just need some time.

Put their plastic pool by the pond and fill it. Great job on the pond!
  • @ZippedUpKitz
You might place a small ramp in and out of the pond and cover all of the plastic with the extra dirt and landscaping materials….you did a GREAT JOB building this pond… I’m impressed!

What a lovely paradise youve created for these cute farm animals❤
  • The ducks are being cautious. One laid an egg, because anxious. They need coaxing and will eventually go in. Really nice job, looks so relaxing with the waterfall part. Can't wait to see them enjoying it. I was so happy for the geese!

I'm here for the ducks!!! Also cats and dogs. Also the geese!!!

If you notice wild ducks can’t leave a lake until the lake is to so many feet in front of them. They can’t lift themselves up to fly. You might want to make a lower area for the duck to walk up and down into the water. Ducks realize they can’t get out of the pond. Some could drown. Ducks have shorter legs than your geese. Place flat stones and pea gravel around pond 5 or 6 ft. away from the water. Then the ducks and geese will keep the water clean and can get in or out. I would check with local wildlife rehabs around your area. They can tell you what to add.😊😊

I wanna swim in that pond, lol 😄 beautiful work, Chad! Your vlogs are so heartwarming to watch

If you build it they will come. Eventually. Despair not. ❤️

See me here holding my breath waiting to see the ducks go in the pond, and shouting 'take a couple up Chad and put them in and the rest will follow' 😂😂 Maybe put their old water baths near to the edge of the pond and that will help them to find it?
  • @KatySimpsonLive
Fantastic pond Chad. So lovely to see how much fun the geese are having. Silly old ducks!
  • @dubyaelle5533
The ducks will appreciate a ramp. Also if you ever have goslings they won't be able to get in and out of the water easy.

Add P gravel to the bottom of the pond and around the edges. It should help P gravel. Tiny gravel. It might throw some lava rocks and some other interesting rocks around it as well in the bottom and around the sides. Fill in with the sand, play sand, but Kirk well 21:12

Everything is scare to critters until they learn it's ok. Don't force it. Maybe give them just a few of their tubs back and every couple of days move them closer to the pond and remove one until your real close to the pond. Maybe then they'll figure it out. It has turned out very nice, I'm loving it!!! Be patient it will happen 🌞😊

The geese are so happy swimming away but it’s so delightfully to see your face happy 😃! Maybe just take one duck to go in first then the others will follow! They only know small plastic ponds! Well done Chad …
