It's so exciting rolling off that ferry on a scooter. It's usually wet, I'm always nervous for the first few miles but once a few miles are clocked the adventure properly begins.
  • The epsilon boat was so horrible when I went on it cuz it was so small inside it compared to the swift and Ulysses Im never going on the epsilon again😢

Did you get caught in that monster traffic jam on the A55 further along? it was around Colwyn Bay to Llanddulas area...I was on the same ferry as you were on this same day, I think I was a bit further behind your car, was parked on the left side of the lower centre part of the swift
  • I must say that I’m not a fan of the Dublin Swift as a SailRail Passenger in Manchester - I’d sooner sail from Liverpool Lime St (Liver Building) on the Ulysses, even though it does not currently sail from there nor to Dun Laoire, as with 2 trains, Manchester Piccadilly platform 13 via Chester to Holyhead is exhausting compared to Manchester Victoria to Holyhead direct - the River Liffey also needs to be properly dredged to allow ships to sail up the Liffey as far as the Custom House or O’ Connell Bridge, with the redesign of several existing bridges to allow them to raise for ferries - foot passenger only ferries (no cars/trucks, etc) need to be put on the route, given the lack of onward public transport travel options out of Dublin Port (North Wall), not even the LUAS or the DART and despite its proximity to the Port Tunnel & M50, as not even Bus Éireann is offering direct coach services as they are from Dublin Airport
  • I also went to Blackpool in England years ago to it was a beautiful place to
  • Man, that is a tight squeeze. I drive an Aygo so I’d be alright but I wouldn’t want to be driving a Cayenne, XC40 or especially a van. If I wasn’t already put off Irish Ferries by them never having any cabins available when I want to travel then that parking set up sealed it. I’ll stick with Stena but thanks for uploading. Great video. Have a ‘like’ from me.
