This session I decided to leave the lures at home and hit the river and canal with dead baits. Only with a bit of a twist. One of the baits was a dead tench that I'd came across during a previous session. The aim of the game was to catch as many fish as I could on the smaller baits like the roach and bream. Then save the Large tench bait for a big pike. This is how it went!

I find the gear you use interesting simply because some of it is not available in America . Our ice is just starting to come off which is earlier than usual .

Hi GF. been subscribed for a good few years and seen many great shows, just wanted to let you know, on the auto text it calls the Tench a tent twice. keep up the good work, you make it look very easy, we all no its not, but you do make it look so easy.and not just pike fishing :).
