Time heals all wounds, including the financial ones! You held on and waited it out. Awesome job. It is a lovely coin!!

Nice coin- I don't have any of the older gold. Always nice to see, thank you for sharing it. Liked and Subbed!

Hi Mr. & Mrs. PTP. $925 in 2013 is worth $1,026.40 today. I always convert my costs to today's dollars to calculate my gains(losses). I bought my MS64 1915 Eagle in 2015 for CDN$$880.00, which is CDN$948.46 today. The current bullion value is CDN$1239.00 or US$940.70.

1911...Very cool year! I've had several bad deals in my experience with stacking, mostly on poured pieces. Fortunately, I've more than made up for it with the latest surges. I decided to sell a chunk to make a profit and make up for the bad deals, but I'm also holding on to my more fluid pieces like Eagles and such. It will definitely be interesting to see what the future holds, if the world doesn't go to hell first that is...🤷‍♂️

Great video 😄 It is not if you get a coin at spot that matters... what matters is what spot price is when you buy! I laugh when I see people bragging about something bought at spot when spot is at 10 year or all time highs. Glad your patience worked out $$$!
  • Your bad deal coin is absolutely gorgeous! Am not a pre ‘33 fan, but if I were to get one that would be the one! I’m not buying at the moment either! Good idea to stock up on essentials too. 👍
  • I got you beat! I paid a cool $1,000.00 for my one and only $10 Indian! Although, the one I have really should be graded as it is a fine example. Yep! I hear ya on the wait.... I paid $1,260.80 each for 4 gold one ounce Buffaloes in 2013. That was a lot then, but now look at them. Land? I saw your insert - Yes it is true that land will probably not lose value, but there is up-keep and taxes.... Bad deal? I'll tell you what a bad deal is - I just spent $15,000.00 during the course of getting my son married in August! HAH! Well it sounds like you and the hand model are doing good--- Thanks for the video! Good Luck and God Bless!
  • Yes, sat on 10 x 1 oz gold Britannias which I had bought at a "high price" then... Now, all of them 42% up... :)
  • @losinglouie
That’s selling for a good deal more than you paid my friend. Congratulations!
  • Way to go, holding it longterm! Hey, serious question: would you be into doing a meetup someday at an lcs? I don't think we live too terribly far from each other. My wife and I would enjoy it for sure!🔥🔥

The very worse deals come when you sell, if you're holding you can't lose.
  • Now I'm wondering what my worse gold deal was. I've already posted a video on my worse silver deal. I'm certainly stocking up on supplies, probably the most I've ever held

I got 1 from apmex a ms62 kinda dingy, but still a keeper🤪Great video folks! Hope you and the hand model are good. Take good care of yourself and I'll talk to you soon, shawn!
  • @StackingKat
Might've been a bad deal at the time, but it's still a heckuva gold coin.

Good things come to those who wait...911 Tomorrow, never forget 🇺🇸
