  • I needed this! I have been struggling to collect homework every morning and checking off who has completed it and who has not! I love this! It was easy to follow along as well! I would love more Google Sheets tutorials!
  • I would love it if you did a video that showed how to link the sheets to create the missing work that auto populates or could you share where you learned it. Would like to create a weekly work checklist for students where they could see work they need to do for class.
  • I watch your videos because 1. You’re awesome. 2. You love order as much as I do. I didn’t even need to watch this one but holy hell, I got an idea while viewing and just created a checklist that’s gonna make my work so much more organized and satisfying. Who doesn’t like checking shit off lists? Thanks, Michelle!
  • This is amazing! I love these tutorials. Short sweet and to the point! I've already started revamping my sheets and this has worked beautifully! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to other teachers.

It never fails everytime there I watch one of your videos there is a moment where my mind is blown. I use sheets for check lists but never thought about making strips for keeping track of marking! This is a game changer for me…
  • I always look forward to seeing your videos. Thank you for this one. Teachers always need checklists and I love how you’re able to add the checkboxes and color code the rows. I usually use Google docs but Google sheets has so many cool options. I will be experimenting with this today during my prep. Thank you once again for a wonderful tutorial. 🎉
  • @fasting50plus
Wow!!! Amazing. I've been looking for the solution to crappy checklists for years. From one perfectionist to another...thank you Michelle!!
  • I just created my very first Google Sheet with your help. You made it so easy!! Thank you so much!
  • You are a lifesaver! I made my checklist as a watched and it is perfect. Thank you!
  • @redfebruary5125
Thanks Michelle for sharing. I'm definitely finding ways to make my teacher life easier and more productive.😊
  • Michele Emerson--you are a GIRL BOSS!!! I LOVE LOVE your video tutorials! (and your podcasts, your TPT and your youtube channel.) I just want to say I already have been using all google and know how to make sheets but the tips and shortcuts I learn from you are always usable and easy to follow! I am sharing with my teacher colleagues. Thank you for all you do for the teacher community. I also pass your videos to my daughter who has gotten into lifting and macros. You are an absolute inspiration and I love following your journey!
  • SUCH a great tutorial! I now have so much confidence to create a sheet!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to show us HOW to create something that looks so good!
  • @zoecalifornia80
Thank you so much. I followed along with you and made a checklist for my childcare schedule. Then I went back and played with it to try other stuff. Thank you so much. So helpful. I'm trying to learn and it was a bit easier to follow you.
  • This was SO helpful! Thank you , Michelle. As an instructional coach, I am working more with data (and Google Sheets) this year than ever before. I learned some tips and tricks. I also would love more Google Sheets Tutorials! Gracias!
  • @sallysnyder499
You're an amazing teacher! Thank you for sharing your hacks, your talent, your enthusiasm for teaching and learning!
  • This helped me alot even as a student who makes checklists to keep track of how much syllabus I covered or how many topical pastpapers I have done
  • @jodibowen9993
This was so helpful. Thank you for guiding us through this!
  • Perfect content as always! I am definitely switching over to google sheets now for all my tracking. I grew up with Excel and got certified in Excel before I graduated college and thankfully most of the ideas are the same. I am now using checklists for my job since there is so much to do and I will definitely miss something without it😂
  • Great content, as usual! You always teach me something new about programs I use all the time. Automatically coloring alternate rows is a game changer!
  • Michelle this was very helpful! Can you also teach us how to generate those colors for certain criteria such as the ones you use on the slides? That too would be amazing.
