Exclusive: SiR's Battle with Addiction & His Musical Awakening 🎤✨

I remember in November of 2021 he did a set at the DNV festival. He said it was his first performance in like 1-2 years or something. At the end of his set he broke down. On the floor & just cried. I knew then he was going through it & I just cheered for him & cried. I’m sooooo glad he’s in a better place. He’s been a favorite of mine for years

Dopamine choking me. Focusing hopelessly. What am I, an addict? How tragic. I've had it, relapsing is taxing, detaching, retracting, acting sporadically. What am I, an addict? But not in vain. My pain remains a strain on purpose. Truth has surfaced. I'm built for this. Humility crippled my arrogance. My choices polluted the narrative. Addiction threatened my vision. But now I see. Victory! I'm free!

Beyond SiR being one of my favorite artists, this interview is so good to see. Humans interacting and communicating honestly and openly without overstepping. I love this.

I wish all the strength, peace, and abundant energy to SiR and his family. And shout out to his WIFE!!! It is not easy loving someone through an addiction especially when you're a first time mother.

I've been a fan since seven sundays. I've always thought this Man to be GENUINE. But this interview hit different. When he said "I had to totally submit myself to God", then "totally re-sumbit myself to my relationship and my woman" MY HEART just LEAPED. 😍❣❣❣ So proud of him for overcoming, pushing through, and conquering. FAN 4 LIIIIIIFFFFEEEE!

What an inspirational interview. I disagree with him only about not naming his drug of choice only bc things have the power we give them, and not naming it is giving it power, imo. We need to destigmatize drug addiction. If we do, people won't be in the position that he was in where they were embarrassed/ashamed to tell a loved one about your problem. But with all that said, this is an awesome interview. I was addicted to pills, then heroin, from when I was 16 until about 9 months ago. And I've never been better. So I like to see big names like him talking about their struggles. Good shit.

He ain’t lying about not catering to the ladies. I’m usually low key triggered listening to the lyrics 😮‍💨 but I love it so I keep going lol!

Hearing about his struggles with Addiction, Life and Fame is really amazing! As someone whose been in that kinda mind frame; you really have to drag yourself out and stand on it. Ive been sober 10 years strong; no cravings or temptation. This was a great interview; very insightful and entertaining! Inglewood in the Mothafuckin Casa! 😂🤘
