OFFICIALLY the tallest kid in the world, Jase, is a sweet 10-year-old boy who stands at a staggering 6 ft 3” due to a condition called ‘Gigantism.’ This condition means that Jase’s body releases extensive growth hormones in his pituitary gland, causing him to grow at a much quicker rate than an average 10 year old kid. Jase has grown taller by 5 inches each year and will continue to do so, unless he has a surgery to remove the growth in his head that will prevent him from growing further. Though he is resistant towards having surgery, one of the things Jase loves about his condition is how tall he stands above his peers at school, especially during football games, where every child and parent shake at the thought of him playing. Being six times the size of his friend Truman, the gentle giant is not only growing externally but also internally, as his organs and appetite grow to match his frame. Despite his appearance, Jase is a normal, loving 10-year-old boy who embraces being the ‘tallest kid in the world’.

I’m Jases mom. Thank you to everyone who has shown support for my boy! For those asking and/or too ignorant to do your own research…. Jase eats the same as his siblings. 3 of the 5 are average weight. I, mom, eat very little but gained weight due to medications I’ve taken for years. Also, Jase does cardio 4 times a week on top of football practice 4 days a week. Which I’m sure is more exercise than most of you get. So before you make a comment and bully a 10-year-old child, educate yourself on what you’re about to talk about because you only make yourself look like a fool. Thanks again to the ones commenting and showing their love!

They need to get this kid his surgery asap or else he will end up like Andre the giant.
  • If his life expectancy is only 40 because of the gigantism, obesity is only going to shorten that. Also, they said he plays football and is around 300 lbs when other 10 year olds can be like 60 lbs, I'm really hoping they don't let him tackle because couldn't he seriously injure someone? even if he's not tackling there's like body checking in football. Because it's a contact sport it seems pretty dangerous for the other kids.

She tries not to over fed him but he has gynacamastia. She needs to learn proper nutrition. Eggs, veggies, meat protein, healthy fats. And he needs to stay active.

I have a pituitary tumour too but mine grew on the other side so it effects a whole lot of other things .. my prolactin levels mainly and possibly my vasopressin levels. Plus I'm getting severe migraines. It's hard because the pituitary gland is only about the size of a pea and so a tumour suddenly growing on it can, obviously, be a lucky dip of (horrible) possibilities of what it's going to impact. My heart breaks for this young man. It's terrible to see what he's going through.

The mother very clearly overfeeds him and herself as well. Parents buy the groceries, not the children
  • @MOBremember
don't care what she says. she's definitely feeding him too much food

Jase, you’re an Amazing young man, you’re a WARRIOR!! PLEASE, NEVER FORGET YOUR WORTH!! & NEVER FORGET THAT YOU MATTER!! 💜💜

His height and weight are two different things. The entire family has a weight issue.
  • @HeroInTheSun
Poor dude. I hope they can do something about it
  • The lady says people would judge me for overfeeding him, but this is a condition. So why is your other son is also overweight and you also are? 😢 I suppose they already take medical support from a dietician but im not sure if this is overfeeding or hormones factor.

They're literally discussing a life-threatening growth in a child's brain yet the comments, all of which are adults imo, seem more concerned with the childs family being overweight... the world we now live in, right. Jase, you're an amazing young boy. I hope you find the courage to have that surgery and get your life on track. Big love to Mom who is also doing the best she can in a situation that she has zero control over.
  • He is such a sweet person and hope the surgery goes well and love his positive energy ❤😊❤
  • @Subbysadkitten
I hope he gets to live a long full life <3 <3 God bless.

A 10 year old can not make a decision if he should have the operation,it's the parents decision. Of course he has to have it, it's about quality of life and life expectancy
  • If it makes you feel better, I also had pituitary glands problem w my growth, that make me slowly grow or stop growth. I have been taking growth hormone shots when I was teen to young adult, now I'm 5.4 ft tall
  • I can relate to the shoe problem but on the opposite scale. I wear a 2 1/2 extra wide. Extra wides are easier to find in larger shoes but no so much in small shoes.
  • @JukeNnukem
To better deal with gigantism you gotta have the surgery and also lose weight. Being overweight and having gigantism is a no no.
