In all my 64 years, 1976 has been the best by far. A fantastic year and I wish I could go back to that time. ππ»

I still remember the thrill of listening to the Top 40 every week, sitting on my bed, pressing the "Play" and "Record" buttons, for every song I liked, then trying to write the songs on the tiny lines on the cassette box. π Ah, the memories of vinyl records and cassettes. Hope Santa brings me a Time Machine this year. π

In 76 I met Jane Rowe the most beautiful girl in the world I have loved her all my life unfortunately she passed away in 2010 Iβm going to be with her soon as the record says weβre going to do some living after we die I love you Jane with all my heart and canβt wait to be with you and weβre together again Love you so much sweetheart β€β€β€β€β€β€β€β€β€β€β€

I couldnt tell you what I had for my dinner yesterday, but I could sing nearly all the words to these songs from nearly 50 years ago.

Great music. I was 12/13 that year starting my comp' school in the September. Music they played at the school disco's and my first proper snog.

I'm from Poland, the 70's was the time of communist rule in Poland and the Soviet occupation, but this music was listened to, my youth I listen to this disco music with pleasure, I still have beautiful memories :))

What an emotional roller coaster that was. Brought back happy times, sad times, love, break ups but overall a time i so wish i could go back too.

β76 was a brilliant year, with all the disco music and classics from Wings, Queen, Elton and Kiki, Abba etc.

Huge year for me. Left school. Met future husband. So many memories attached to some of these songs.

On holiday in dorset with my fiancee for two weeks in the glorious heatwave,good times,happy memories.π

What a year, a long hot summer, and my first proper motor bike, too many good songs to list hear. A new found freedom. I was so lucky.
