There were posts he made on Facebook that were said to be “disturbing”. Meanwhile Facebook algorithm flags people for inciting violence or bullying for absolutely no reason at all… makes perfect sense to me.

I’m so tired of this… like imagine how devastating these families and people are and how traumatized these kids are after experiencing this kind of traumatic event. Makes me sick I hope he gets what he deserves and even more!

Seeing the elderly struggle to run, kids panic and parents desperately trying to find a place for safety is by far heartbreaking, terrifying and upsetting. This nation is has a gun violence and lack of humanity epidemic on the continue rise. My condolences to the lives lost, those traumatized and the ones desensitized. 🙏🏿

Companies spy on you on the internet all the time but finding shooters before they act is apparently very difficult.

"known to authorities" what is the point of having authorities if they do nothing but just know about criminals?

Its about time to have a ZERO Tolerance policy for this. He pulled the trigger, he goes down. Make a quick and brutal example out of this guy and possibly change the minds of those considering the same thing. We don't need to house and feed this guy for the next 20 years while millions of dollars are spent trying to convince the court he was insane. Quick trial, public execution and new policy. Lets stop wasting time on these shooting events and get a handle on it. At the very least, send a clear message NOW.

Every time we put these lowlifes names and pictures on the media, they won. lock them up, throw away the key and never mention or talk about these people EVER. they feed off of infamy. this is heartbreaking and horrible.

Another day, another shooting. It's exhausting and heartbreaking. I feel so bad for everyone who had to witness that, especially the children.
  • Why is this getting more attention than what normally happens in Chicago on any given weekend??
  • Watching the video, my focus was on the elderly couple running for their lives and the people running who were carrying and/or had small children in strollers. So sad what is happening and continues to happen in this country. Nowhere feels safe anymore; not a parade, the grocery store, the movie theater, a concert, nothing.

Man, How do you deal with this when you have little kids, toddlers in strollers. ..senior citizens who can't move any faster. ...this is sickening. ...

I hope the injured people recover from this and rest in peace for the people that lost there lives

I really believe by posting the picture and saying the suspect's name and diving into his history, the media are giving him exactly what he wants. I understand the impulse to try try to solve the psychological mystery of why someone would commit such a horrendous act, but you can't rule out that notoriety may exactly be it. No more photos, no more names of the suspects, no more social media posts, no more "manifestos". Focus on the victims and the heros.
  • I'm gonna bet that he wanted to be publicized all over the media, and this was how they brought him in without pulling their triggers
  • @nobux717
I can't help but say it, but that suspect doesn't look smart enough to figure out which end of the gun to pull the trigger.
  • @Georgie14
STOP identifying and glorifying the killers. It’s what they want. 🤦🏻‍♀️
  • He had crazy written all over his face and neck 🧟‍♂️ Yes we need to keep an eye on psychopaths , they are already screaming out loud until some this happened. Be aware of your surroundings, and amp the security level for that just in moment. R.I.P to the ones who died, blessings to their families. Prayers to those who are injured.
  • I think I speak for many when I say I stayed home for 4th of July for a reason
