If you didn't know, the Bonneville salt flats are a massive dried lake bed and salt deposit outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. This is where many land speed records have been set because there is so much open straight space with hard packed, flat, grippy terrain. We got a campsite only a couple miles from the entrance and took a little jaunt out into the playa. It stuns.
