Honestly this might be my favorite dougdoug video. this is fucking crazy in execution, editing, and more. The fact that the doug team is able to make such a simple concept of walking in a straight line into an emotional rollercoaster of hope and loss to such a degree is honestly fucking incredible. Great job

The run gets increasingly caveman as it goes on. It stars with carefully analyzing the game mechanics to determine the best line to follow Eventually it turns into “me throw bomb at goblin” and killing a slime with a boulder. And it ends with barely being able to understand human speech as the greatest achievement becomes feeding a roasted bass to a rock on the edge of the world. Truly a cinematic masterpiece.

I went into this asking myself how a 28 minute video about walking in a straight line could be entertaining.. 28 minutes later and I cried, found happiness and a new religion. 10/10 Video can recommend.
