"Acting is a gorgeous profession, if you give it it's due" Larry Moss.

Larry Moss is one of the most renowned acting coaches alive today. In our interview we ask Larry what actors can do everyday to work on their craft.

If you're feeling like you don't know what to do as an actor, learn 4 monologues every 3 months. A simple, tangible acting goal from Larry Moss himself.

This interview was shot at the 16th Street Actor's Studio work shop in Sydney, Australia.

  • As a lit nerd, writer, performer, and confused new actress, this video TRUELY IS a gift from God.

    1. vocal warmup 2. minimum of 4 monologues every 3 months, 2 contemporary 2 classical, one at a time.; one comedy one drama; swap w partner. Who i am what i want the obstacle, what do i do to get it. Spontaneity is not possible. Physicality and character too. Study the plays, the character. do the monologues diff ways daily.

I have watched this video a lot of times and each time i watch it i learn something new. That ladys and gentleman is a great teacher. He is a master at teaching actors. As a 16 year old boy I feel confused about this profession but this incredible man has open my eyes so much, i can not describe how great full i am with him. Thank you

It is a profound gift to study with this man. To even be in the same room with him is almost indescribable. He is a true Godsend for actors.

Love this guy. Studied with him for years in the 80's (and a bit in the early 90's) and he knows. He is a living link to the original, great "modern" acting teachers of the 20th century, carrying on their traditions. Just got his book and it's marvelous. Highly recommend!

Unlike a lot of acting teachers who like to play at being gurus (and many even find groupies to oblige in making them feel so), this guy sounds like the real deal. Would love to meet him!
