  • As a 21 year old owner operator. Definitely still learn cool stuff and tricks with equipment from people who run equipment also. Been running equipment since I could walk. Dad owns a construction company doing concrete. But me and him just opened a land clearing and forestry mulching company that does grading and same stuff you do besides ponds. We’ve got 2 299d3s and a 308. But like a side the little tricks how u got the tin off the side definitely slick and fast to not fight the wood. Learn a lot from watching others. Been watching you for a while now.

I would not drive any rubber-tired vehicle in that general area, until after someone first used a big magnet to pick all the fasteners up.

Sure would have loved to have that barn at my place, what a shame

As I was watching you tear this old barn down, it dawned on me that that old barn stood up pretty good to the mighty force of your excavator. Then I thought how quickly a tornado completely destroys a building in a matter of seconds.

It doesn’t matter what I am watching, as soon as a Letsdig18 notification pops up, I am on it!

Oh, we haven't seen a demo project in quite awhile. Nice job, Chris.
  • @Vickie-Bligh
This so showcases your abilities with the 220. Utilizing the raw power of the machine to destroy the building and the fine, delicate use of the bucket & thumb to pick out individual pieces. This was a fun one, Chris. Thanks for sharing.

I like that can opener action Chris!
  • This is a surprise, when you mentioned loading the 220 for a demo job I thought you were going to tear down the new/old house Geoff bought. Subcontracting parts out can get tricky - depends on who you get to do it.
  • Great job cleaning up the old barn. Looks like the last section was the original homestead turned into a barn. The old 220 is still accurate for doing fine work. I can understand why you say you're never selling it. Great video Chris.
  • Demo videos on this channel are like pearls ....precious & a beauty to behold.😂
  • When you started the barn tear down with the 220 can opener, the thought crossed my mind, you have Bealy Good and now you have Peely good, looks like fun to me. Thanks for the update, enjoyed the change of pace.
  • 13:40 I saw the lady running and for about 10 seconds wondered if she was going to tell him that is the wrong building.

To think the Barn was a shelter from the elements until LetsDig 18 barely touched it ,just like butter melting away . All you need now Chris is that shredding machine that MrDigg is trialing on the land fill ,rent one and load it straight into a dump truck

It’s always a good video watching you demo an old building or barn, Chris! That’s a lot of tin on that barn!👍🏻💯 I guess it won’t be long before you have to demo the old house for Bealy and I believe you’re going to build a pond there too from what I remember!
  • @Bradley38
Man I wish I could find somebody nearby who would let me take a few sheets of that metal to fix my shed. Can't really afford to buy any with the prices now.
  • @pennyneal2456
I have watched Johnny Jett from Barnwood Builders do that with a telescopic forklift. Fun to watch the metal peel. Mind you, they were trying to save a log building.
  • Grand old barn has had its day. LetsDig18 Demo is a step by step process not just an attack - keep it neat and different 'bits' in separate piles for later dumping. Nice spot for a barn too - pretty.
  • Demolitions with the excavator looks like a lot of fun and a really good way to get rid of a lot of frustration.
