GM Ceo Announces NEW $8,000 Pickup Truck & KILLED All Competition!
-----------------------------
GM just killed the industry with a new $8,000 truck. We all know how much prices are fluctuating, but this is more than a shocker.
New and affordable models are coming out recently, but this just took things a bit further, and you must be thinking—will this be a good truck? The short answer is yes, but there is more to this truck than just affordability, and the reality is that, whatever the outcome, it is all good for us. Because this means companies are being more competitive in the cheaper segments too. And we have already thought about that question, and what we have found is truly surprising; their strategy, the impact, and the performance of this truck are very different from the usual, but first things first.

Just build a full-size truck without all the fancy bells and whistles. Focus on drive train and ability to handle work.

You've got to be smoking some real good shit to think ANY new vehicle will retail for four figures in 2024.

Talk is cheap. Let's see if it actually hits the market anywhere in the world...
  • @dushooter
8000 for a truck price. But once it gets to the stealership...the MAP, salesman haggle fee, fake set up, bs destination fee, resort fee, resort fee tax, and the clear coating they never applied...add on of 60000.00
  • Every country in the world have vehicles like this made by American companies but aren't sold or marketed in America.
  • Just make a smaller exact model of the silverado and Sierra. Call it the micro or the Sierra-M and charge $10 or $12 grand for it and they would sell the shit out of them
  • @smolek898
As someone who works for GM, do people actually believe this crap?
  • @dyer2cycle
This is not a truck..it is a crossover with the rear compartment opened up...what we really need is a smaller, basic truck, available both in regular and 4 door sedan configuration(I personally want a regular cab with a real/longer bed)..and it needs to have a full frame, 4 or 6 cylinder engine, rear wheel/available 4 wheel/drive, real useable size bed...a real pickup...there is currently an industry-wide move to open up the rear compartment on crossovers and call them "trucks"....
  • @gene4094
The dealerships would want $8k, too.
  • @lalutte65
Get real—in 2005 I bought the cheapest entry level gmc canyon, regular cab, manual shift, crank windows, no cruise control—and it was $16k (about $24k todays dollar) new. If they could build and sell a this new for $28k it would surprise me

I’m totally disappointed already. To much electronics, no ground clearance, automatic transmission, 4 wheel independent suspension, it’s all unnecessary garbage. Should have invested in making a cheap reliable truck that’s east to work on, keep it simple. Way to manny computer components, I can pull or push a steel rod just fine. No computer needed. Way better for the environment is the manual steel rod
  • @brianroberts815
Is it disposable? When it runs out of fuel, do ya throw it away and buy a new one? Does it have a full warranty? Does it have enough power to even pull itself down the road at highway speeds, 60-70 moh?
  • The S-10 was a great truck. The ford ranger was a great truck when it was a small truck. The ranger is now the size of a full size truck back in the day.
  • @3mountains307
We have two Chevys. The Suburban is 15 years old. The trailblazer is 17 years old. Both still run and are reliable. If the 8,000 dollar truck is as reliable, it's a great deal.
