The straight Y pipe was nice but I definitely love the distinct sound of true duals.

Recently bought my fathers 04 gmc Sierra 1500 and I love the way it sounds. 5.3l v8, and all he had done was a single flowmaster 40 series installed and bout a couple weeks ago (before I bought it), he was with some buddies and they were all doin burnouts up n down the road. Well he ended up somehow breaking the welds off on the tailpipe end of the muffler, and he shot out the innards of it 🙂 rumbles like a dream now though, and has slight but not tooooo loud crackle/pop 2 with a quick blip of the throttle

This is an awesome video.....comparing different muffler set ups and the sounds of each......up close,in the cab,and how it sounds going down the road! Good job and good thinkin!👏🏻👍🏻

I had a 2000 Silverado 5.3. I had stock everything up to a single in dual out cherry bomb extreme (same thing as a flowmaster 10) to 2 5" tips corner exit. Absolutely loved it. Sounded like a muffler delete just a lil deeper sounding.

I put a dual exhaust system on my truck exactly the exact same setup as one of your previous trucks that you had in here years ago and I bought a flowmaster exhaust system for my 01 GMC Sierra 5.3 litter V8 SLE extended cab two-wheel drive. I gained 18 horsepower by putting this exhaust system on the truck originally had 285 horsepower stock I'm cranking 303 304 horsepower now what a difference thanks to exhaust addicts for hooking me up with the right parts and everything I needed to get this done your videos really help me truly truly did. Exhaust Addicts if I am ever in Tennessee I will definitely be coming into your shop and hopefully getting a dual exhaust system on my other truck

I run a 3 inch cat back, single side exit, with a flowmaster super 40. Sounds real good. Nice and deep and mellow. And no Hwy drone. I really like the flowmaster fx muffler. It’s had nice tone as well.

The flowmaster going out just before the rear tires is so nice looking
-
Second video. It's good to here a flowmaster 40 series muffler do what it's there for. Thanks for the exterior / interior video because that's exactly what flowmaster advertises the 40 to do
-
Number 5, is my vote, single to dual, cat back, not too much crackle, but loud enough.
-
I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3 and I run a muffler and 3rd cat delete. In the mornings when you cold start it it’s kinda obnoxious but after it warms up it’s the best exhaust Set up I’ve had on it

The corsa system I had on my 14 is still my favorite
-
I admire the work put into this video. Thank you!

Best sounding one I had was true dual with cats, but no muffler, it had a 3 inch x pipe where the muffler would go, was quiet when you wanted it to be but loud when you got down in her
-
I have a 95 with headers, Magnaflow cats n race mufflers. Loud as hell!!
-
I like straight piped trucks but, the true dual straight pipes sound rly good and deep. I wanna make my 2005 z71 Silverado sound like that.

Lol happy to be in a state with no inspection

The last one was the best good job guys... Shutouts from CA

Converted mine a few months back to dual glass packs with dual exhaust
