I'm around quite a few hippies, and "highly vulnerable to catching a dose of conspiracy theories" is spot on. Content algorithms play quite a part in this, I love DIY/hiking/bushcraft/homesteading, and it's quite scary how fast doomsday-fall-of-civilization-antivax-lizard-elites content starts appearing in your feeds

i feel like punks, goths, ravers and hippies are overall the same people nowadays edit: i didn't expect a full blown discussion tbh :D i removed goths and metalheads out of the occasion but besides that i still stand by my point
