Just wanted to share with you guys some general plans I have for the rest of the year concerning this channel. I have several backpacking trips already booked. A lot of smaller local stuff and family trips through the summer. But in the fall ... get ready for a return to big mountains!

Be sure and check out these awesome videos from Nate and Chuco of our January backpacking trip in the Guadalupe Mountains of New Mexico when we hiked the Last Chance Canyon Loop. This loop was awesome. Hard hiking but big rewards. Also, it wouldn't be a good trip to the Guads without those Hellacious Guadalupe winds!

    Went to the Smokey Mountain National Park 2 weeks ago. Be careful if you do Cade cove loop. We got stuck in traffic for 2 hours due to some bears. We did half of the loop and hit the first exit. I know its a NP but the crowds at every trail was a surprise for me. Look forward to your future videos, always very informative.

    Sounds like a great 2022 plan. We were at BBNP last week and did numerous trails - no South Rim, but we did Lost Mine. Headed to Guadalupe Mtns in a few weeks for the peak and McKittrick Canyon. Doing an early morning route at Dino Valley this Saturday. Getting close to having completed all trails at all parks nearby (Cleburne, Meridian, and Dino Valley.) Lacking one at Meridian, and one of the easy/short ones at DV.
