We talked about the Warlords , they folded the Akatsuki, so today, we are gonna put another group of the big 3 against the Akatsuki. Can they beat the Espada? Well YOU BOUTA FIND OUT. The only thing to note is I will be doing each matchup in 3 rounds, one with who would win normally, who would win equal stats, and then a battle royal for the fun of it. Also these matchups are picked out by me personally because I'm cool and you guys can see that I made these matchups fitting and how I'm basically Kanye West. The Espada are the ten top-ranked and most powerful Arrancar in Sōsuke Aizen's army of Hollows with Shinigami-like powers, serving as the primary opponents of the Gotei 13 captains during Aizen's war. Akatsuki was originally founded by Yahiko during the Third Shinobi World War alongside his childhood friends, Nagato and Konan. As citizens of Amegakure who had been orphaned by the Second Shinobi World War, the three created Akatsuki as a way to bring peace to their home country, which too often got caught in the crossfire of the Five Great Shinobi Countries' many conflicts. In time, the three were approached by Tobi, who introduced himself as Madara Uchiha. Tobi claimed Nagato was the reincarnation of the Sage of Six Paths and offered to teach him to control the power of his Rinnegan, though Yahiko distrusted him and prompted Nagato to turn down his offer. Nevertheless, Tobi would later claim that it was he who encouraged Yahiko to form Akatsuki, unbeknownst to Konan. Naruto is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. It tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who seeks recognition from his peers and dreams of becoming the Hokage, the leader of his village. The story is told in two parts – the first set in Naruto's pre-teen years, and the second in his teens. The series is based on two one-shot manga by Kishimoto: Karakuri (1995), which earned Kishimoto an honorable mention in Shueisha's monthly Hop Step Award the following year, and Naruto (1997). Naruto was serialized in Shueisha's magazine, Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1999 to 2014, and released in tankōbon (book) form in 72 volumes. The manga was adapted into an anime television series produced by Pierrot and Aniplex, which broadcast 220 episodes in Japan from 2002 to 2007; the English dub of the series aired on Cartoon Network and YTV from 2005 to 2009. Naruto: Shippuden, a sequel to the original series, premiered in Japan in 2007, and ended in 2017, after 500 episodes. The story of Naruto continues with Naruto's son, Boruto Uzumaki, in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations: Boruto wishes to create his own ninja way instead of following his father's. Bleach is a Japanese anime television series based on Tite Kubo's original manga series of the same name. It was produced by Studio Pierrot and directed by Noriyuki Abe. The series aired on TV Tokyo from October 2004 to March 2012, spanning 366 episodes. The story follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki after he obtains the powers of a Soul Reaper—a death personification similar to the Grim Reaper—from another Soul Reaper, Rukia Kuchiki. His newfound powers force him to take on the duties of defending humans from evil spirits and guiding departed souls to the afterlife. In addition to adapting the manga series it is based on, the anime periodically includes original self-contained storylines and characters not found in the manga. Viz Media obtained foreign television and home video distribution rights to the Bleach anime in March 2006. Bleach was broadcast in the United States on Adult Swim from September 2006 to November 2014. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, a sequel series covering the manga's final story arc, also animated by Pierrot and directed by Tomohisa Taguchi, aired its first 13-episode cour on TV Tokyo from October to December 2022. The second cour premiered in July 2023.

On the stark matchup, don’t forget that stark has TWO souls, meaning he can potential real out of genjutsu. So it’s still a wash
  • @advansement
yami got hit by a poison which could melt concrete . i am certain that sasori's poison would do nothing to anyone

The other big issue here is limits. To my knowledge, each of the Akatsuki has a major limit to their power that makes them a bad match for the Espada. Hidan is immortal but cannot regenerate by himself. Kakazu has a life counter. Konan becomes tangible if she gets to low on chakra. Deidara has a limited amount of clay. Sasori has a limited amount of weapons and puppets. Tobi can't stay intangible forever according to Konan. Finally Pain and Itachi, the 2 biggest threats, both are frail and risk dying if they go to hard. Kisame feels like the only real opponent without a major limit on him.

On the speed scaling for Bleach, Ichigo blocks a cero from a Menos Grande Pre-Shikai (Ichigo’s Shikai is a 5x boost as he later keeps up with Gentei Kaijou Renji which limits a Soul Reaped to 20%) which is between 10% and 18% the Speed of Light. After the 5x boost you have Ichigo at 50%-90% LS and Bankai being another 5-10x amp (using 10x as that’s what most people use) Ichigo as of the Byakuya fight is 5x-9x FTL. Hollow mask should be a Bankai level boost as implied by Tosen during his fight with Shuhei and Komomura so Ichigo at the start of Hueco Mundo is 50x-90x FTL.

The Espada destroy them so bad the Samsara of Heavenly Life won't be able to revive them

It’s honestly really fair. Ulqiorra is enough to beat all the Naruto heavy hitters. Like…what are they going to do? Dog would wash everyone…leaving just holes in their chest

The other kick in the nuts for naruto characters in this matchup is all bleach characters can essentially fly (which is also why Deidara is decent to begin with) so bleach characters who use primarily ranged attacks (like Stark) are at a huge advantage even stats or not
  • I feel like with equal stats you forgot to mention that not just Nnoitra but all of the espada have a hierro - or basically iron skin that allows them to casually tank attacks that have put other characters either in a casket or down for the count. Not to mention their ability that allows them to put spiritual pressure around their hands (the red staticky thing) and quite literally pierce and essentially karate chop people's bodies like they're butter to a buzzsaw.

I’ve always believed that Uquiorra is indeed the strongest espada, and Aizen knew it and kept it that way to inflict despair on ichigo. His normal power would scale to #4 but his segunda etappa is what set him leagues above the rest of the espada.

Baraggan wins, what's 3 days of torture in Tsukuyomi going to do to a primordial hollow? 💀 Itachi could spend a lifetime in Tsukuyomi, use all his chakra and Barragan won't even flinch at the 100years, he's been alive for 1,000s. Edit: Barragan is millions of years old and predates literal death in the Bleach verse, it's no contest.
  • For Barragan vs Itachi... I'd think Barragan could probably age Genjutsu. I mean, if that fight were to happen in an anime, that would totally be a thing. And then there'd be a whole thing about that one infinite Genjutsu and all that. But in classic bleach fashion, even that would somehow not be enough, cause it wasnt as infinite as they thought, just really long.

The difference is the Akatsuki were just a group of elite Ninjas gone rogue. In terms of sports imagine Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt, dominant and seemingly unstoppable, but in a fight since this is an analogy, could be beaten if you use multiple people. But the Espada were on another level even compared to the strongest people revealed in the universe(with a few exeptions). Imagine Superman or the Flash going up against average pro athletes. It doesn't matter how many people you have tag team a relay race marathon, they aren't beating either one. The difference in power even in relation to their own universes is staggering. The Akatsuki were each about 80-90% of a kage on average being generous (konan and deidara are MAYBE 60%) meanwhile each and every Espada is probably at least 150% of a Captain.

As a fan of both groups but who likes the Akatsuki way more. Even I know this match up would be like full grown mma fighters going to a third world country preschool and just smacking them around like nothing.
  • @defianthound407
Its insane how people can try to compare the universes. Ichigo when he stepped into the soul society and did his bankai training immediately Gapped Naruto's verse. To think about it Naruto developed an ability that could fight against the soul society in the Ninja war arc. His ability to sense invisible adversaries but hes still insanely weak in comparison to the 13 court guard squad who Ichigo clears easily
  • @avatar1o1234
The espadas are basically evolved corrupted souls (hollows) that can’t be seen or touched by anyone. Only if you have a slight sliver of spiritual pressure, can you see them. Humans in the bleach world have no spiritual pressure, ichigo even lost his powers and wasn’t able to see or touch them. Akatsuki will literally get no-diffed/erased from existence due to them having no spiritual pressure.
  • @AlexT7916
Barragan really kills all of the Akatsuki by himself
  • @louanmerminod5071
The Espada stomp, it's like a thermonuclear bomb against a coughing baby
  • @unordinary9617
The hacks in bleach too op like spiritual pressure literally makes them immune to attacks from people who don’t have it and like ichigo vs zaraki in soul society ichigo got hurt from attacking him cuz he didn’t have a lot
  • @gameshooterstarOG
3:17 just wanted to point out. Just because you can react to light doesnt mean your as fast as it. You can also react to a ball flying at you with 80kmh / 49mph but youre not that fast. But i think Bleach characters are as fast as light anyways mainly becuase of the shunpo technic which is really basic in bleach. It translates to lighting step so.
  • @gravity6869
What’s crazy is that none of the akatsuki could see the espada
