Lilia *finally* chops off ALL HER HAIR! (almost 13 yrs old) 🥺 SHOCKING EXTREME HAIRCUT

Lilia looks so happy with her new hair! But my favorite detail, was when Addy said she thought she wouldn't like it, and Jess reminded her that it is about what Lilia likes and wants. It wasn't a lecture, but just a calm, casual reminder for a little kid that will hopefully carry over into situations when Jess isn't there to remind any of the younger kids that their opinions don't count for more than the person actually making the choice.

Her confidence and self expression is truly incredible. As an adolescent mental health therapist I see kids struggle so much w their identity and resistance from their parents. Your acceptance and support of Lilias identity/expression is everything. Love you guys!!! ♥️

Love when Addie said she doesn’t think she’ll like it and Jess reminded her that it’s what Lilia wants/thinks that matters. That’s what I’ve been telling people on Jess’ TikTok that say they don’t like it. Jess is such a good mom, allowing her kids to express themselves and teaching them to respect other people’s opinions and choices even though they defer from their own etc. wish more parents were like this ❤❤

I absolute love how much confidence this has given Lilia. Seeing her change and how amazing all the family is about it all is heart warming.

I love not only the fact that you let her choose how she wants to style herself but the fact that you constantly support and remind her how beautiful she is! Lilia is so lucky to have you as a mama!

Lilias image really came to life with this haircut her vibe and personality all came together seeing a side of her really come out especially her style that we have briefly or barely seen on camera yet I’m so happy for her I can’t believe she’s gonna be a full on teenager next month really seeing a mature side of her come out it’s like her hair was hiding her for so long. I love this new Lilia. And I love that everyone supports her. My mom talked me out of multiple haircuts when I was younger, claiming my curly hair wouldn't look good in short styles, so I love to see parents that fully support their kids choices. And Lilia has so much more confidence the new haircut!!! And who doesn't love shopping for some new clothes!!!
