This is the actual footage of an witnessing encounter outside of the Mormon Temple in Mesa, Arizona. If you see one encounter between a Christian and a Mormon we hope it is this. This is took place during Apologia Church's evangelism outside of the Mormon Easter Pageant.

We believe that this footage shows that Mormons and Christians can and should break down the walls between their communities in an effort to talk about the Word of God. Truth matters. Mormons and Christians can in fact have gracious and loving arguments about the truth. This video demonstrates that.

"We don't adjust the word of God to out beliefs; we adjust our beliefs to the word of God." Well said Jeff.
  • This Mormon guy is such a gentle soul. I hope God’s knowledge is revealed to him in scripture

This pastor is so well spoken and clear in his speech. He is truly gifted by the Holy Spirit.
  • Ever felt like it was a Friday, but it was Tuesday? We must not use our feelings as the gauge of truth, but trust in the word of God which does not change.

I left the LDS church after doing my own intense reading of the New Testament. My family is now going to a non-denominational church where we hear preaching about Jesus every Sunday. I love it. Thank you.
  • My husband and I are both ex-mormons, we now spend our days talking to the LDS about the true Jesus and we love watching you guys witness. Love your heart for Mormons, it's rare among evangelicals witnessing at Temple events.

Honestly as a Christian, his arguments are the best I’ve heard from a Mormon. But there’s no disputing what Jeff is saying. No matter what he can say, Jeff’s statements are fact and there’s no denying that. Praying for this man 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I think many members of LDS church aren't even interested in the actual doctrines or searching...but it is a cultural thing. They are part of the Mormon community, their family are Mormon, their friends are Mormon, their activities are Mormon. To them it would be giving up almost EVERYTHING in their life. It's rough.
  • That was done very well. I appreciate the LDS member for being a great listener, too.

Your patience and persistence are gifts from God. You use them well Pastor Jeff.

This is by far the most pleasent argument between two different religions.

So refreshing to see the respect and courtesy on both sides here. The Mormon gentleman comes across as rational and mature, so that helps a lot. But Jeff, you've gotten so much better over the years at putting people at ease during the discussion. Very encouraging, brother. Nice camera work, Marcus.

I couldn’t stop tearing up watching this! This has increased my faith in the Bible and the living word! Thank you for sharing this!

26:59 broke my heart.. he clearly has had his eyes open to the truth in this video. Its hard to admit when you’ve been led astray. Its hard to admit you were wrong this whole time. I feel compassion for this man because I was in the same boat, although a different church not LDS but the same boat. I pray for God to open his and his wifes eyes to the truth of Christ. 🥺🙏

When I first saw this something in me hated it, but I kept watching. Then I realized how insidious the tendency it is for me to add to the Word and make it my own- but it isn’t mine, it’s His! I pray that the Lord continues to reveal to me that His Word is true and that in meekness I realize that my “personal revelation “ comes through His Word, not what I may try to add to it. He was, is, and will be perfect with or without me. 🙌🏼🙏🏻🙌🏼

How can they claim Josephs word is eternal, but t the Bible isn't?
