This story eventually got to a point where I thought to myself, "Okay, seriously, how many more people are gonna go in there?"

the only anxiety I get from this video is the fact there's a whole river of gold out there for me but I don't wanna get decapitated

I have severe visual impairment. Not blind but close. The way you tell stories it doesn't matter. You really make the stories come alive and I can easily picture in my head what I can't see. Thank you so much.

The story about the nked woman running up the cliff is by far the most disturbing. Reminds me of the indian tales of the wendigo. A spirit that will come to your camp or fire, and stand there waiting. If you acknoledge it, it will possess you and send you madly running into the woods. A demon of wanderlust.

I used to work diamond drilling up in the territories 500 miles north of Yellowknife in the tundra and it’s the most scary place I’ve ever been. You would think it would be the grizzly bears, or wolves, or albino caribou, giant mosquitos, and countless more things that would be the most terrifying. But no, it’s the silence. When your alone at the location I was in, it’s so quiet that all you can hear is a ringing in your ears. And everything else that’s there is stalking you, starving, trying to be as quiet. There was a stray big wolf that was circling my drill for a couple days and it was insane. The only reason he didn’t attack us was because our drill was so loud when it was going. But in all actuality, we were dropped off on complete isolation by helicopter for 12 hours waiting for another helicopter to come pick us up and if for some reason that drill goes down, you are completely vulnerable to everything armed with bear spray.

I'm ojibwe and was raised in the southwest by my great uncle (who was navajo). For those outside the native cultures this may sound absurd, but it honestly sounds like the land is angry at being disturbed and it protecting itself from being polluted any further by people by chasing the people out and destroying anyone that stay.

Seeing how the place is already called Headless Valley, I think other parts should have equally fitting names, such as Stay Away Cliffs, Turn Back Now Pass and Seriously Don't Keep Going We Are Not F*cking Kidding Bend...

Anyone else think the woman running naked up the mountain was possibly making a desperate escape from something, rather than being possessed?

This is one of my absolute favorite stories. I'm a Canadian and I am quite terrified of the great wilds. These tales just confirm what I always knew ...
