Went on a solo trip to Santorini in September two years ago and had the most peaceful time. Explored the island at my own pace and didn't wait for anything. It wasn't overrated at all, and I'd love to go back again soon!

I'm going to Athens for the first time next week. I've been studying ancient Greek history for about a decade, and your channel has been invaluable. Thank you so much, and I hope we cross paths someday!

Sometimes places are popular for a reason. Santorini is one of those places. What a beautiful place. Great video! Thank you!

Ok, now we’re talking!!! Even if you went 10 times to that island I would still watch your videos from there every time! For some reason it feels like I’m there when I’m watching your videos.
  • Went to the ancient ruins of Thira 4 weeks ago. Really interesting. Great views

The exquisite Minoan style frescos from the West House, etc. are in the museum next to the Thira bus station.

Anna must be a very special lady to drag Gabriel away from his beloved Greek islands.
  • I really would ❤ to visit Santorini, I've visited/stayed on 14ish big and small Greek Islands. Loved every one of them. Very envious of you Gabriel and your friend Anna.

I've been twice, and I hope to return for a third time. Everything is so beautiful on this island.Scenary, the sea, the view, the sunset, the food. I wish i could live there for the rest of my lifetime.
  • Loved your Greek series, from Northern Greece to the beautiful Greek Islands, just wonderful. Still have yet to experience that part of the world. Hopefully next year🤞From what you have shown, would like to spend at least a month there. Currently in Germany with a trip through Austria to Lake Garda Italy planned with family. Thanks for your fantastic videos, feels great to be travelling again. ❤❤

the frescos and objects missing from Akrotiri are displayed in the ultimate little Prehistoric Museum of Fira. Absolutely amazing! Also, next time, don't miss the Archaeological site of Ancient Thera. This is from the Classical era, different from the Bronze Age Akrotiri. Always something new to see on this blessed island.
  • Hi Gabriel, nice to see you and Anna relaxing enjoying meals and doing some swimming. it seems Santorini isn't crowded yet so probably a good time to get over Italy and enjoy it even though that might be over crowded at this time.
  • Thank you for the reminder of the island on which we spent our vacation with my Greek friend. The sunsets in Fira/Thera/and the beach in Perissa were breathtaking. The arrival by ferry to the caldera is already a stunning experience!
