  • On the topic of aging: Man, this one breaks my heart. I have strong opinions on this because I think the fear and complaints of aging are linked directly to an ungrateful heart. My grandma (who raised me) died far too early in her 50s from cancer. What I would give to have her HERE and still aging through life!!! Another woman in my life, in her mid 60s, is constantly complaining about aging, wrinkles, gray hair, etc. it hurts my heart to hear her speak in this way. The blessing of living into your 60s and beyond… of being there to experience the lives of your children and grandchildren and great grandchildren! I am coming to the end of my 20s and already feel the pressure from society to not age! Why?! I pray that I have a lot of life ahead of me, and that I used my future years well and wisely, and that I keep growing to be more like Jesus and to have beauty that exudes from within. I hope I can pass that contentment and confidence to by daughter by being a good example of aging happily and gracefully.
  • “Aging is a privilege denied to many.” I don’t remember where I heard that but it’s always stuck with me and I think of all the people my age that have passed that I’ve known and how blessed I am to still be here ❤ love the video as always
  • Not me sitting here in my stained shirt, hair in bun, hairy legs and eating an unhealthy meal while I sit in the car so my 8 month old will sleep longer than 20 minutes 😂 Ellen your channel ALWAYS speaks to me. I needed this today, thank you.

I realized in the last 6 months how important it is for me to take time to work out and just get some time for myself. I wish I would have done it more when my oldest kiddos were little but I’m glad to be doing it now.
  • I used to be so self conscious about armpit hair and the smell so I used to always shave and wear deodorant. When I met my future husband, he completely changed my mindset on body hair and natural pheromones. Now I love that part of myself and appreciate the way God made me naturally. I don't have to hide behind cultural practices or toxic substances.

Yes, loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, helps us to love our neighbor as God heals us emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically through renewing our minds to think, feel, and act healthier.❤🙏✨️
  • I work out 5 times/ week and it's been part of my schedule for over 10 years. I'm in my 50's and I feel more connected to my inner being than I was in my 30's. I eat healthy meals on a daily basis as well. Those are the most important things I do for myself.
  • This was very timely for me, thank you! I feel like I’m just now starting on a deep self journey ❤
  • I totally agree - with age I have learned to love my self. Especially after bringing my son into the world. I appreciate my body and look at myself in a more positive light like you said. Any “imperfection” I see more as a uniqueness and just embrace it as something that makes me who I am. Thanks for this simple, love filled video! Family, love and kindness is what life should be about.

  • @StarBearLee
Thank you for being so vulnerable and real ❤
  • @PsychoCutieMe
You made a point that I dont hear too often but I agree with = all the popular culture sayuing to cut negative people out of your life. Real friendship means walking through hard times in a friends life, and being there for them. (To an extent!) Not just dumping them because they brought you down.
  • I absolutely adore the way you speak about your old self now. ❤
  • Love you so much Ellen! I’ve been watching your channel since your first videos & although we’ve never met. your definitely a sister to me. My heart is just so happy to see you so confident in yourself & how much you have evolved, I can’t be more proud of you. Much love from me to you 🫶🏽
