  • O Lord, when the storms of life rage around us and the winds of adversity threaten to overwhelm us, grant us the strength to stand firm in our faith. Help us to find solace in the knowledge that you are our rock and fortress, our ever-present help in times of trouble. Give us the courage to weather the storms and emerge stronger in our trust in you.

  • Some clarification is in order regarding this topic. First of all, Gen. 9:18-19 reads as follows, "And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread." There seems to be some particular reason for noting that Canaan was the son of Ham. We continue reading in Gen. 9:20-23, "And Noah began to be a farmer, and he planted a vineyard. Then he drank of the wine and was drunk, and became uncovered in his tent. And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside. But Shem and Japheth took a garment, laid it on both their shoulders, and went backward and covered the nakedness of their father. Their faces were turned away, and they did not see their father’s nakedness." Literally, the ancient Hebrew says that Ham “told with delight” what he saw in his father’s tent. He determined to mock his father and was undermining his authority as a man of God. "And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. And he said, Cursed be CANAAN; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren." (Gen. 9:24-25) The term "younger son" could also apply to Canaan, Noah's grandson. The Hebrew word "qāṭān" can be translated as "small, little, or youngest," and, as such, could include Canaan also. This seems to indicate that whatever happened to Noah, it was more than one of his sons or grandsons seeing his nudity. This explains the strength of the curse. Did Ham's son Canaan enter into Noah's tent while Noah was still drunk and engage in some unmentionable act of perversion? It certainly seems possible, otherwise if the only sin was Ham's public mockery of his father Noah, why then would the curse fall on Canaan?

I will never understand this scripture, considering what happened when Lot's daughter's got their Father drunk (Hello, anyone)??

It is disturbing that people do not know the meaning of the ancient idiom, "Uncover your father's nakedness" This term means that Ham had sex with his mother (his mother was Noah's nakedness; not his); and, was the father of his brother Canaan. This is why Noah cursed Canaan.
  • "Divine Wisdom, please enlighten my mind and open my heart to your truths. Grant me discernment and insight as I navigate life's challenges and seek to grow in understanding."

To try to conceal his sin revealed cowardness as well. He chose to sacrifice his people before finally manning up. In those days, I would have eliminated him, but I'm not holy. Yeshua, is coming!
  • Why do people call the feast Jewish feasts? In the Bible it says they are Gods feasts. His appointed times.
  • Brilliantly worded - goes to show that the TRUTH OF OUR DIVINE GOSPEL still is refreshing & ALWAYS 100% TOTALLY RELEVANT IN THIS , OUR MODERN AGE.. Endlessly always giving to us , who hear " yet another spiritual layer of bliss & reassurance.. GLORY TO GOD...🧡🧡🧡😇

Many teachers have failed to recognize : "Ham SAW his fathers nakedness" - THIS is the sin - he didn't just SEE his father HE GAZED, STUDIED his father - 👉The account implies Ham had been watching & waiting as his father was getting more drunk for an opportunity 👈 Any righteous man has no guarantee his children will obey The Lord hence Jesus said : anyone who loves children more than Me is not worthy of Me - but we are still commanded to teach them the gospel anyway Ham had been developing disturbing signs of behaviour prior to this event but Noah still loved him fulfilling the Law of Moses before it was revealed : "i will visit the sins of the father to the 3rd & 4th generation"

Brovo Brother Christie Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ open up your eyes to the corruption of this organization. May Jehovah and his bless you and your family 😊
  • Lot's daughter's grew up in Sadom and Gomorrah am thinking Lots family was affected by the lifestyle. His wife looked back on all that she was leaving became a pillow salt his daughter's saw that God save them on time yet they didn't not trusted him to provide them with husband and children they took matters into their own hands . "Drunken their own Father and slept with him"? "EVIL my God"😢.

Do you see the truth??? Noah told Ham your child will do the same to you, just like every parent does!!!
