Oliver Reed became my favourite actor as soon as I saw him in a 1967 film called The Shuttered Room He was the finest in England RIP
  • 4 wild horsemen rode by and left me with tears in my eyes, tears caused by screaming laughter because I listened to the most brilliant stories of real life happenings from the 4 very great and most brilliant men called OLIVER REED, RICHARD HARRIS, KEITH MOON, and my 2nd Cousin PETER O TOOLE, all 4 men are having the most excellent time in heaven, you will find then all down in Kingston Hall most weekends, causing a rumpus, having drinks and telling their wild and trust stories to all.. The great Oliver OLIVER REED loved his home in Ireland and the local people that he is buried in the local crematory, God bless all those 4 amazing men with the greatest talents and they used all those talents to the max and gave they greatest joy to all the people
  • I was part of the crew that moved him to Guernsey. Took 6 of us to pick up the full-size fibre-glass Rhino, that Keith Moon had delivered to his garden.
  • Oliver Reed…, good lord. He seemed such a crude rowdy, but was an acute intellect given to sharp judgement. The fuse was forever lit and a bit frightening. But he and Keith Moon certainly lived and gave their all. It is good to see them smiling. Whew.

I live very close to his old house Broomhall and I often visit used old pubs whenever I do I always ask for 2 pints of beer if I’m on my own it’s really confuses the Barman I quite often just drink them straight down and leave people must think I’m an alcoholic or not it’s just in memory of a great man a funny man and a kind man🇬🇧🤣❤️

The days of REAL Superstars being unleashed !!
  • Just imagine these two drinking together, and they did, but they both were great at what they did best, r.i.p. both.

Ollie was an amazing character I could listen to him all day.. My hero lol
  • Two blokes who lived life to the fullest. Bless both Ollie and Keith. RIP, you nutty geniuses.
  • @BB-wc9jx
2 great blokes with that lived the wild side of life, but Keith Moon was a superb musician and Oliver Reed was one hell of an actor! They sadly don't make em like that anymore! The world is a duller place without them...for sure.
  • Absolute mad lads... so much more entertaining than 99% of today's so-called "celebrities". Would've loved to have met them...

The best Keith story, he bought a rolls and took out the back seat and put in a throne.
  • @1TheWhiteKnight1
Proper that. Glad I was born in the 60 and witnessed characters like this. Watching the lifeless humanoids on tv now is mind numbing.

The days when men were men!! I raise my glass to both of these legends.
