The issue with these trailers is that they don't show the full perk description. This is an exotic where they need to show full perk or else it's current sentiment where people saying it's trash
  • For the Hunter exotic, it doesn't look like it packs a ton of damage. Those explosions didn't seem to kill anything off the rip, but if it's spammable with Flow State and Lethal Current? We might be able to just throw out a ton of nonsense for virtually no cost.

I want an exotic that makes gjallarhorn rockets come directly from my face.
  • @GeremyG
They turned Failsafe into an exotic chestpiece.

The Warlock chest HAS to have a second part to the perk. I remember when Swarmers was teased it only showed the 2 threadlings from a tangle. We only learned of the Unravel thing after it released. If that exotic has a second part that grants melee energy on suspend kills (or suspending enemys idk) then it might actually have a play. If not, then it's dead on arrival. And nobody is using this on prismatic, Datto, be fr.

Warlocks: rope-jitsu Titans: MLRS Hunters: "so we heard you liked the bombardiers" (nobody uses the bombardiers) Guys help i angered all 4 bombardier users 💀
  • For the titan exotic, they might just be doing it for flavor because “rockets go brr” but the titan does pull out a rocket launcher right after the barricade rocket volley launches so maybe it has some kind of interaction with rocket launchers. Like a brief moment of extra damage or something? Idk, just coping right now because they all seem kinda underwhelming

I did note that the Warlock only used the Arcane Needles on Champions. So hopefully enemy tier is a factor in how many Needles is needed for the Suspend. Perhaps: 1 needle = minors, 2 needles = elites + Guardians, 3 needles = minibosses/champions

I feel about these. You know. I have a feeling idk what it is but I feel. A feely feel the feels... Feely

as an arc hunter main, finally having an exotic that isn’t raiju’s, lucky raspberry, raiden, shinobu’s…. wait a second
  • @unovaangst9262
I think these exotics also will have other secondary effects that aren’t as flashy or can’t be shown. My example of this is cyrtarachnes facade which grants woven mail (easy to show in a trailer), and flinch resistance (difficult to show in a trailer)

Warlock chest should be how it works by default

Mataidoxia could be good if its built in a way similar to Second Chance. If Suspending enemies gave you melee energy, or if getting a kill with a melee also triggered the effect, it could help contribute to a heavy suspend focused build that would be a sidegrade for the braindead weavers+necrotic+osteo. Gifted Conviction could be ridiculously strong if it procced on Lethal Current's melee or on dodge. If it's only Tempest Strike or Ascension I think it might be an underwhelming meme exotic. I really want Hazardous propulsion to have some sort of synergy with Wardcliff or Grand overture similar to what Hunter has with Moths or Warlock has with Weapons of Sorrow. Like firing them while standing behind a barricade sends out another wave of missiles.

Warlocks got the Titan exotic treatment and the backlash shows this

Hopefully warlock chest maybe gives us melee energy back for killing suspended enemies, or some other effect, just adding suspend to melee is dumb
  • @ZGamingGuy
For the warlock one, I'm guessing that adding more melee to the same enemy, increases the radius of the suspend detonation. So you can probably suspend with 1 melee I'd guess. Otherwise, it's going to be absolute garbage. Even if it works the way I think it might, it still might not be all that amazing honestly
  • @vCrux
My guess for the warlock is that kills will activate the burst in one arcane needle and for the beefy targets like champs it will require the 3 consecutive like the video. Potentially having diff tiers of enemies create different size bursts. They have been doing that tiered stuff a lot recently.
  • Ok so I think the warlock chest is underrated because of its usage on threadling builds. If you are running a threadling build and the aspect that gives threadlings on rift the main problem is uptime for that rift. You want to get it back as quick as possible but the only thing that does that in the class is a fragment that requires suspends. The only way to get suspends enough to make it worth it is to eat a shackle grenade with mindspun meaning you are not running weave walk and have to burn a grenade on not threadlings. If you run this you can run that fragement, use Weavewalk, a threadling grenade and the build something to build around which is melee charges. If you need a rift suspend a target and kill it. If you need to perch threadlings use Weavewalk. I am already using Monte Carlo for the threadling build so this seems like a really nice slot in for that build alone.

For the Titan, I’m curious at specifically calling the Exodus Rockets - I’m wondering if this will be another hidden interaction exotic with a new exotic rocket launcher involving exodus rockets. So long as the warlock has a good passive effect I could see it, also, in the first clip it looks like the range might actually be insane on the explosion. I’ve come to the conclusion that Arc hunter is the most boring class aesthetically, and the exotics mirror that.
  • if it depends on the target i think it would be good. kill a red bar get the suspend but bigger targets require more needles. the other 2 seem fine to me
