Hey there guitar friends!!! In this video, we're working on building an Eddie Van Halen-style tone using my Strymon Iridium amp modeler. I recently picked up some Celestion EVH impulse responses and thought I'd put them through their paces. I don't know why most YouTubers only use the Round amp clean as a pedal platform. I love the sound of the Punch and Chime amps with the gain dimed! I add a tube-screamer clone in front and it sounds great.

This video was awesome! One of the things I struggle with is getting it to sound this good when recording. The distortion always sounds crackly as it tails off of the notes. Not like it would on an amp
