Always remember who you are…

The four nations of the world once lived in harmony, with the Avatar, master of all four elements, keeping peace between them. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked and wiped out the Air Nomads, the first step taken by the firebenders towards conquering the world.

AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER, follows a young Air Nomad named Aang, as he reawakens to a world ravaged by war. Together with his newfound friends Sokka and Katara, he embarks on an action-packed quest to take his rightful place as the next AVATAR.

This new live-action reimagining of the award-winning Nickelodeon animated series comes to Netflix in 2024.

Hopefully Netflix nails it this time. I believe they will.

I love how this trailer gives us just enough to get excited without giving away the whole plot. Well done 😍😍😍

1:15 the smile on Aang’s face here gives me hope. His playful nature is super important to his character arc.
  • The fact that they found a kid who actually looks pretty cool with a shaved head and like he's about the right age for Aang is honestly a miracle in of itself.

It's depressing how a mere two minutes of trailer can look even more promising than an entire 90-minute movie.

Please don’t let this be a dumpster fire like the first movie! This is such an amazing show and beautiful lessons and characters. This is already looking better than last time but please y’all don’t ruin this 😅

My favorite part is seeing the fire benders attack the air temple, and for a split second you can see airbenders come flying in with their staffs, it makes me emotional because the airbenders were pacifists and didn't have an army, they're defending their home and loved ones!
  • I used to dream for the cinematic version while watching whole series for many times so many years ago. It's incredible!
  • My wife is a big fan of the original show and I’ve seen bits and pieces and liked what I saw. We’re finally sitting down and watching the show together and I’m loving it (currently on s3 e5). This trailer has more of an impact now that I started watching after this trailer came out, and for once, I’m actually excited about a live action adaptation.

I have high hopes from this series and believe that it will be market breaking series.
Also the VFX in series look amazing the way the showed a glimpse of fire bending is amazing it feels that they have tried to keep the style of bending same.
Also it will be amazing to see if that have taken references from the real Marshal arts from which the bending styles were referenced.
Also I love the way you showed earth Kingdom, Northern invasion and Fire Nation.
It feels that it is ton of better than The Last Airbender movie
Will love to watch it and to support its creators.

Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Aang. And although his airbending skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe Aang can save the world.

The characters look on point visually but if they failed to capture the humor of the animated series, I think it's gonna bomb. One of the things I loved about the animated series is the contrast between the lighthearted humorous moments against the sincere dramatic moments.
  • Hopefully this one is better then the last movie Because I'm a huge Avatar fan and i don't wanna be left disappointed for the second time ❤

This is just amazing. I love everything about this trailer and am excited to see what Netflix has ins tore for all of us come February. I personally think they could’ve picked better actors for Sokka, Katara, and Azula, but other than that the rest looks great and also no one could make a worse live action adaptation of the og show if they tried so there’s hope. The bending looks great aswell and the fire benders at the air temple always pulls on my heart strings when I remember the sad truth of why the show is called Avatar The Last Airbender.

I didn’t even know this was coming, yet I have such a big smile on my face already!! It really feels like the characters and world just sprung to life!
  • Netflix I'm begging you. For the love of all Avatar fans out there. Please don't mess this up. The animated series is a masterpiece. Let that be your guide and script.
