The Houston Rockets won their 10th straight game as they defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder, 132-126, in overtime. Jalen Green led the way for the Rockets with 37 points (7-11 3pt. FG), 9 rebounds and 7 assists, while Amen Thompson added a career-high tying 25 points and a season-high 15 rebounds in the victory. Josh Giddey notched a career-high tying 31 points, along with 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the Thunder in the losing effort. The Rockets improve to 37-35 on the season, while the Thunder fall to 50-22.
The last time the Rockets won 10-straight games was March 2018, when they won 11-straight games.
The Rockets improve to 11-1 in the month of March, still just one game back from the #10 spot in the West.

The NBA should look to this game as a model for how the sport looks at its very best. Players playing incredibly hard. No-calls on tons and tons of plays with contact. Offensive players allowed to create contact. Defensive players allowed to absorb contact. Momentum never slowing down. This was one of the best games of the year. And a huge part of it was the lack of annoying calls, the lack of reviews (still could be reduced further), the lack of complaining, and a great pace that never lost steam. Really fun game. Hopefully this is the future of nba games over time.
