Welcome to another weekly message by InCourage Church. This week Dewald shares on Offence and how to overcome it.
The devil cannot get to us directly because of the blood of Jesus and therefore he uses indirect methods to get t us. One of the biggest traps that he uses since the beginning of time is "offence". How does one overcome offence? The answer is forgiveness. If we forgive, we are empowered by God's grace.
Even when Jesus hung on the cross, He said to the Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. He forgave them to protect His heart and therefore modeling to us how to overcome the traps by the devil.
The bible says that we have to be quick to forgive those arounds us. We should not let wounds lead to infection which speaks of pain. We should rather let our wounds be healed which would lead to scars which would lead to testimony.
