GT Lower Initial Impressions Video:    • Making the GT half inch lower = best ...
Should You Raise or Lower Video:    • Should you Raise or Lower your Onewhe...

Thanks to @thirdeyesamuel886 for the crispy footage. His full versus video should be coming to @TheFloatLife channel soon.

THIS IS A PRE-ORDER THAT IS EXPECTED TO SHIP IN ABOUT 6-7 WEEKS
thefloatlife.com/collections/onewheel-gt-accessori…

The GT lower kit comes with replacement bolts, and we are currently using readily available bolts. Future versions may have custom bolts that better fit the GT rails. The current bolts may get scraped up if your board falls on its side, and you need to be mindful to keep them centered during install.
This pre-order also will not come with any special packaging. Future versions will likely have sexier packaging.

Thanks for the honest review of your own design. I think this could pair well with a different front bumper that isn’t so thick. There’s really no reason for it to be as thick as it is, and opening up some clearance could reduce or eliminate these issues.

Your GT is by far the best GT board I have ridden. The lower kit made such a huge freaking difference in my control of the board as well as feeling comfortable. Thanks for letting me ride it when you came out here!
  • @slimdog72
Glad you are enjoying the lowered GT.

Honest review of your own product. Good stuff Jake

I want to try that board with that drop AND the enduro tire…. Seems to me that would be the first GT that actually feels the way a GT should…
  • @-NoizY-
Looks like this is definitely the move for cruising streets, intimidated but excited to get my hands on this & the enduro. Thanks for the in-depth pros & cons! P.S. You did that dude dirty by keeping his bail in the vid 😄

This is a great idea. I used to have an XR, and the one thing I hated about it the most was the high center of gravity.
  • @Dunlaper
Thank you! Enduro and drop kit on the way. If FM comes out w/ some flat foot pads then I’ll be in heaven.
  • Outstanding and honest review. I'm not a speedy rider, I don't do a lot of steep and gnarly trail riding, so having the board lowered for stability is directly in my wheelhouse. I can't wait for them to come out, along with the GT B.A.N.G. Bumpers with the thinner front side to negate some of that clearance loss.
  • I have had mine on for a few days. And it's really good. I have experienced zero downsides. And the ride feels better in every scenario.

When will the install video for the half and half axle blocks for the GT will be made and posted? I’m waiting for that install video before purchase. So I can do it myself.

Love your content! Any chance you'll release a version of the GT drop kit in the future that would include the mag handle mount?
  • Interesting things that the design choices that made the gt wonky did work given many contexts
  • Hey, Jake. From the reviews on your site of the Half & Half kit it looks like some folks are having issues with the motor cable and with tire rub after installing this kit; both possibly related to slight variations in tolerances in different GT boards. Can you speak to these issues?
  • @brianres
Hey Jake, saw these are shipping. Will you be dropping that install video soon? Looking forward. Thanks!
  • Any updates on GT Varials? Would love the lowering kit but I do way too much trail riding. But I hate the top heaviness of the GT
  • @CarveyKeitel
I got to ride this board around in front of the float factory for a couple minutes. It had the Lowering kit and the enduro. It felt so good that I’m actually considering buying a GT. Way more stable and waaaay smoother.
