As someone who has 3 young children. 7 to 14... Them ans all their friends have consoles, none of them play on PC. And Quest 2. Literally everyone of my kods friends have a playstation and a Quest 2.

xbox is extremely niche in Europe. I as a western european have never heard or seen somebody that has an Xbox. playstation is a verb here

The difference between self checkout lines and Ai in the creative field is self checkout is doing a simple task that doesn't require a person but also creates the job or maintenance on the checkouts. Ai in creative fields isn't creating anything original, its pulling from people's work bypassing paying the people needed for it to even function. If every artist and writer were replaced with Ai the industry would be at a creative stand still because it can only pull from what exists.

I've heard some AI researchers discussing the future of movies being full length Hollywood blockbuster production quality films generated by AI for individual people. Like you would be able to see your "perfect movie" of any type and style on demand. It's pretty hyperbolic sounding, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens in my life time. That's a scary thought considering how people will get sucked into screens more than they are now
