Yung Kong Kee chinese restaurant (malapit lang sa Roberto's), sarap dito yung toasted bihon at no name nila. Jo's chicken inato, sarap dito yung dessert nilang buko halo. Para sa dessert, yung Deocampo's barquillos, sikat sila sa barquillos, barquiron at tarts at Biscocho Haus, sikat sa biscocho, butter scotch at pastries. Sila ay sa Jaro district, mga 150 meters lang naman yung distance nila sa isa't isa.

Ang pancit molo is yung mga rectangular na sheets. Naalala ko yan ang binibenta na pancit molo sa nubg bata ako. Isang malaking pack yan na usually sinasahugan ng sardinas. Ang “dimsum” ay tinatawag na molo balls.

Unfortunately you missed the famous and the best Jo-ann's Fishball at Molo Plaza, Bingka in Mojon (pronounce as Mohon) and the super yummy na Grilled Managat Fish at Breakthrough Restaurant. Don't forget to bring some century old goodies of Panaderia de Molo Est.1872 (probably the oldest existing bakery in the Philippines), also the original Biscocho of Biscocho Haus Est.1975 in Jaro or the original Barquillos of Deocampo Est.1896. Try it next time when you're in Iloilo City. Thanks for coming and featuring the City of Love.

I think i’m the only ilonggo na di gusto ang native chicken at kbl 🤦‍♀️. Lahat ata ng relatives ko gusto native chicken at kbl. 😭 I remember when I was young yan dati ulam niluluto ng helper at staff ng lola ko pero it takes 2 hours bago ako matapos kumain coz I don’t like kbl at native chicken. Yung lola ko dati dinadala ako sa Madge coffee kasi gustong gusto nya coffee dyan. Anyways when I went to college everyday ako kumakain sa JD i try nyo masarap dyan at mura. I remember masarap din yung Glors burger sa Iloilo at meatballs ng Roberto’s. Coastal area restaurant is also a must visit madaming masasarap na resto dun.Anyways meron din trending na batchoy dun sa Barotac Nuevo market I haven’t tried it yet pero sikat na sya sa Iloilo now.

Mas masarap pa sa Lomi yan..
