INEOS GRENADIER or LAND ROVER DEFENDER. Which one would you buy? 4xOverland

I want to see it do the telli track and east to west coast Australia. If it survives it's the 100% best off-road vehicle. I would buy one right now anyway, 1. I love the look, 2. Interior is 100%offroad and user friendly. 3. It's the build a bear of vehicles. 4. It checks 90% of all the boxes I need in a every day vehicle. Now just to see how reliable it is over long term,parts availability, service availability, and pirce here in the USA. That will be what is a deciding factor of how well it sells here. The is definitely a huge market for it in the USA. To bad we can't get the diesel here as well.

INEOS, if you read this, do it. Give it to Andrew. And Andrew, I’d love to see you drive it from Australia back to the pub in Wales.... that would be such a nice story.

You nailed how I felt as a Defender enthusiast when I saw the new Defender and when I saw the Grenadier.

Love everything about it, but wish it would come optional with a manual transmission!!

I am not always a fan of this bloke. In fact sometimes I simply can not stand to hear him grumbling away. BUT.... on this video & his optimism for this new 4x4, I am 100% with him. When I heard about the car & watched the video, I tried to filter out all the PR BS and still was very excited. I am now praying that Ineos does not let us down.

I'm a fan of the new Defender. I get that the Monocoque, suspension and tech limits modifications, but it's the future, and you can't fight the wheels of progress. @4xOverland, I am looking forward to your review of a new Defender

I mean it’s totally a defender knock off, but it seems like they’ve looked at the defender and tried to fix what was wrong with it and what people didn’t like about it which is what LR should have done. So I’m really looking forward to see how the finished thing turns out.

It's like the love child of a G Wagen and Defender. This is the first new vehicle I'm excited to see hit the market place for a long time. I'd be very surprised if the Grenadier doesn't end up being looked at quite carefully by defence forces as a light duty 4wd vehicle.

Maybe they should follow in the steps of Isuzu in the uk, sell and service through agricultural dealers,its working for Isuzu.

Ineos have stated that 25,000 units will be the production goal. With the faults of the old Defender fixed, I think sales could be higher than that.

Ineos didn't copy the Defender's design in the same way that I do not know what happened to the last piece of chocolate cake left by my wife on the kitchen counter...
