Previously, we completed the center roof line and prepped for the install of the next ridge beam.
With all of our steel decking on site, we've begun focusing on moving towards the concrete ceiling pour. Each steel plate has been installed which leaves us with the task of moving the steel beams into place, lifting the steel on top of the safe room walls and getting ready to lay the final course of block.

We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. Josh you may want heavy duty angle iron/I beam header or something over the door that supports the end of the beam. i get a wierd gut feeling about it, but I may not see the vision. Happy father's day, looking great guys!!

I have nothing but respect for you two, I am Very concerned about seeing Erin moving stuff as heavy as in this vid. I realize that she is a strong lady (and a beautiful soul) but in lieu of her previous medical difficulties I Really wish that Josh would bring in some temporary help for portions of this elaborate build. It's a lot of fun to watch your excitement about how much closer you are to finishing each episode. Erin, I have a suggestion/request. When your working with metal PLEASE use gloves. I've actually first hand seen severe injuries from not wearing gloves. I know your tough as nails but I'm sure you want to keep all 10 digits. You guys are awesome.
