Rob Chapman - 400k riff/rig competition

NOTE: I've deliberately kept the volume low to avoid any unnecessary artefacts from YouTube's lossy compression. Turn it up to hear it properly :)
EDIT: Since a few people seem to be watching this...I freely admit that I have the on-camera presence of a wet (possibly dead) fish. I make no apology for this. I'm old, knackered and boring. On rare occasions, however, I do come up with a vaguely decent riff :)

Tasty riff dude! The finish on that guitar is also rad. Good Luck in the comp!

Nice chunky riffing man. Good chubby tone. Enough dirt but not too much. Good luck in the comp. It's a solid entry. Be good to hear your thoughts on my entry if you have the time and inclination.

Lads why don't we all congratulate the winner here now and proceed to fight over 2ND place :)

Well, I mean, now I just want to hear drums with it, a bass backing it up, and a second guitar supporting you, so I guess that means it's pretty darn good. I liked it.

I love it...I just think there's a bit too much bass coming across and the riff should maybe be played with that djent style attack along with a compressor and a noise gate to make it a little bit tighter overall and pop more. I am still struggling to come up with ideas myself :|

Real nice metal tone and a great riff. Reminds me a lot of Iron Maiden with a bit of maybe Judas Priest

i liked the bit where you hit your guitar man never thought of that its very clever.
