Very well done dear Becky, congratulations from a 72 years old mom, who is cooking more than 40 years for family and friends, in Athens, Greece!!
  • @essendossev362
I so deeply admire your organization. Not only did you get this all put together, but you even had some free time in the afternoon to decompress. And you're also juggling computer tasks and gardening throughout your week, and putting out so many videos, making care packages for friends, and spending time with your family! You live a blessed life!
  • I always appreciate that you don’t waste… you scrape the bowl, cut all useable veggie pieces, feed your animals the scraps, and use what you have on hand. It’s so relatable to me ❤
  • Hi Becky, Greek girl here 😊 Congrats for the amazing Greek inspired dinner. There are definitely many adjustments on the recipes but WHO CARES? ❤ I’m glad you reunited with your friends and enjoyed together this delicious food. Please go ahead and give us more videos like this with themed dinners. Greetings from Greece ❤

I love how we all like Becky's video before we've watched it! 😂
  • @JanuaryLisa
Becky, you didn't "pare down", sweetheart--you have a 16-month old toddler! There is no way most of us could do half of what you do with a toddler. Never think twice about cutting back to fit the season you are currently in! We love you no matter what. ❤

You could make Kalamata olives available on the side. I can’t imagine Greek salad without them

Becky, I'm almost 70 and I really don't cook much anymore., But, I love watching your Videos. You are so comforting to listen to., And I can tell you are a truly sincere person to share time with.. God bless to you and your family.. Teresa
  • To get the diamond shapes on your baklava, you want to slice vertically like you started with, but then you make the next cuts diagonally and it will give you diamonds instead of squares
  • Hi from England Becky, Today was my youngest son's 23rd birthday and tomorrow my wedding anniversary so we had a family get together. The weather was lovely a beautiful English spring day. My daffodils and snowdrops are in bloom. I cooked up a storm for three days fretting as I usually do that there isn't enough when there was. I'm tired but a happy tired foods all gone and now it's me time. Feet up pot of tea and Becky to watch. Baklava is my absolute favourite treat. I usually make a batch of it every month. The best part is my husband doesn't like it, so it's all mine. Melitzanosalata is just nirvana with pita breads and quite easy to make. My family love Greece been many times. Crete is beautiful the people are phenomenal the food is just divine. Such a beautiful country. Those pita's looked lovely but have been one of those things that I've always just bought but after watching you I might just have a go at making my own. You're an absolute ray of sunshine. The delight you take in the simplest of things is phenomenal. Enjoy

My first husband was Arabic, so I had to learn how to cook Arabic food.. we would have different parts of his family and / or friends over a few nights a week. Boy, was that under pressure cooking.. but they always ate good. And most wanted food to take home.. before I knew it, I was teaching some of the wives how to cook..
  • What memories you bring back Becky. When my brother and I were children living overseas after school we would walk into town just as these glorious pita breads were coming out of the oven. We would walk back not really talking, but happily munching on these hot pitas. Thank you for the memory.

I wasn’t expecting a video!🤗We are so spoiled. I always get excited when I see a video from Becky.
  • @lemonse6900
I just wanted to say, I love your videos and I'm happy that you post so frequently! I really don't know how you do it, having a small child and all, but I'm very appreciative and the quality of your work/videos is outstanding and you're never over the top/loud/annoying, I just can't get enough 😅 love from Germany

Your comment about nutmeg in the meatballs reminded me of a friend who moved to the US from Lebanon. She was surprised we used cinnamon in sweet applications. She had only known it in savory dishes. The culinary world is so diverse.

It must be totally awesome to be one of Becky’s f2f friends. You can really tell food is her love language by the feasts she creates and then calls a full meal. Actually it’s pretty awesome just getting to be one of her virtual friends. You can really feel the love in a Becky video. Thank you so much for all your generosity of spirit!
  • @gwenmurillo1093
Wow, that was amazing! Anyone else mesmerized when Becky kneads dough?
  • @danielday100
From a Mediterranean guy living in a Mediterranean country this looks great! For me it's food that feels like home :) If you like these flavors, I recommend that you look for a recipe for tabbouleh salad - easy and delicious
  • Silent viewer here. My goodness does this look delicious! Also, the reason I like Za’atar seasoning is because of the sumac. I love citrusy anything. Great job, young lady! 💜
