You say don't judge, because you know you've made low effort, hot garage. A lack of experience is no excuse for a lack of research or effort. You're literally posting on a platform that will show you exactly what you need to do, but instead, you make that. How many chairs have you seen in your lifetime that are all sharp corners and edges where you sit? You don't even need to sit on that 'chair' to know it's horrible, just walk past it a few times in the workshop and get jabbed by those corners once or twice. That is, if it can stand up to getting bumped into twice. No apron to support the top and 2 half-assed stretchers at the bottom means leaning on that one time will snap those screws right out of the end grain. You can see how much it wobbles on the FIRST TIME you sit on it. It's only getting worse from there, assuming you even sit on it more than once after how uncomfortable and unstable it is. Same on those 'work benches' an apron and some cross bracing will make them actually useful instead of Jenga towers of death, just waiting to crumble. People build things a certain way for a reason, some is aesthetic but a lot of times it's structural and functional. It's not your fault for not knowing in the first place, it is your fault for remaining ignorant. You clearly have access to the Internet, so no excuses for zero effort projects from here on out. You're better than that 'chair' and those 'tables', so do better.
