Have you ever heard someone say: “Nowhere in the Bible does it command us to go to church.” or “The early Christians never met together in church buildings.” or “You can worship God anywhere, you don’t need a church.” or “Going to church doesn’t save you, Jesus does.” or “As long as I believe in God and live a good life, I don’t need the church.” In today’s study I will address these oft heard statements and discuss whether they are true or false. I will give you a spoiler alert. Some of those statements are actually true!

I have health issues and heavy chronic fatigue, but I watch online and participate.

The way churches are now, it's getting harder and harder to find a theologically sound church.

I love going to Church and fellowship with Brothers and sisters in Christ. I need them, I need their prayers, and I love my Lord.

We ARE The Church. Assembling together does not mean a brick and mortar building with a man made title above its doorway. Whenever and wherever two or more gather in the name of Jesus and to honor and worship Him, that IS an assembling together. God bless.
  • I was brought up with an old fashioned Christian mother who took us up the road to church every Sunday, Wednesday. We weren't allowed to stay home unless we were sick. We wore dresses every single day. Those were the best years of our life. I knew back then how feeling the presence of God in our little old church. I have been to several churches in the past years and I never felt that. One person wanted to front me about why I wear a mask in church. Yeah! That's right! So anyway I won't be somewhere that I uncomfortable or feeling bad about myself when I have church at my kitchen table. I read my Bible and pray off and on throughout my day,a gift from God when I wake up.

I have not found a church in my area and I must state, I haven’t given up searching for one . Until then Pastor Tiff is my spiritual leader and teacher. Texting from Southern California. Love The Shuttlesworth family. 🙏📖❤️✝️❤️📖🙏
  • Brother Shuttlesworth, as someone who has studied the church for decades, I have to say that this has to be the most balanced teaching on the church I have ever come across on YouTube, or possibly anywhere. I have caught a few others of your teachings, and what comes across to me, is someone who is intimately familiar with the bible and church.
  • I'm a catholic by birth and I'm Christian by choice. My husband goes to church every Sunday. I go almost never. The mass is always boring. I never learn anything or find comfort from it. I have learned more about the bible and faith from watching you and a few others. I love Jesus and look forward to his return.
  • I don’t make my messages on the church and attending church by saying you aren’t a Christian if you don’t go to Church but as I see Hebrews 10:25 “Forsake not the attending of yourself together with others “Even the more as you see the day approaching !😊I love your explaination !❤😊

I'm a non-denominational Christian who attends home Bible fellowships... whenever someone tells me I have to attend a church in order to be saved or do something else not called for in the Bible, I ask them to show me in the Bible where it says that...

Praise Jesus! Pastor Tiff! I'm going back to church this Sunday! After covid I became a shut in! Not anymore
  • @shalomsister
God bless you Pastor Tiff. I attend a Bible believing church, and have for close to 10 years. I love my Pastors, brothers and sisters and moat of all the Lord Jesus Christ. A person can be saved and not attend but if they are physically able and there is a congregation close enough to them they should attend. God bless everyone in Jesus's mighty name! Amen and amen! 😊🕊🔥💖✝️🫂❤️

That really resonated with me, if you put the stick alone, it goes out. I have isolated myself for a very long time. That is exactly what has happened, my fire went out. I am so thankful for our heavenly father. So grateful for his grace, helping me out of the dark place I was in for many years. 🙏 Praise God
  • @cluborator954
Thanks 🙏 for sharing the good news, praise our Lord Jesus Christ
  • I believe a physically and mentally able body Christian who does not go to church runs the risk of being self- centered, confused and live a poor spiritual quality of life as a believer. Funny how you dont have to go to the bar to get drunk but they still go to the bar for fellowship! RIsking their life and the lives of others while doing it!! Thank you Evangelist Tiff for a being a. Anointed dependable Biblical source to the Body of Christ.
  • We are suppose to help one another. We need fellowship in person to keep each other strong and encourage each other in the word. It will not keep us from being Christian. The church can be gathered anywhere. Its not a building. The church is the body of Christ. We are to tithe 10% to the church. I am so happy to hear the truth about what the church is. Your right about so many churches do not teach the word. God bless you Pastor. Keeping the sabbath means to spend that time with the lord. Yes we should go and support the church. We need to gather and pray together. We need each other. We are one people under God our creator.

Thank you for this teaching, Pastor Tiff. I will continue to pray that God directs me to a church with the fear of God and isn’t a Christian Sunday morning social club.
