320 lb ft of torque in this Tacoma. Same torque as the 4.7 V8 in my 4R at half the rpms. I’m buying the new Iforce Max, 465 lb ft at 1800rpms!! Great review, David.

  • David, excellent review on this Tacoma. Very much like all of the clearance around the tires in the wheel wells. Nice redesigned dash and interior.

Gotta remember that on order to keep a good relationship with manufacturers, reviewers can sometimes get... Excited.... About 'the new one'

The biggest disappointment is that the fuel tank shrank 3 gallons. MPG is not really better so Toyota is penalizing consumers by taking away about 60 miles of range. It's sad because their packaging seems very interesting.

What is the gap between wheel wells in the bed? Whats the payload with coil springs? Whats the tow rating?
