Just imagine how many John Lennons and Kurt cobains are performing right now and will get nowhere because of mainstream radio and the current music industry

That drummer is really good! I hope he got some recognition later on.
  • A baby born that day would today have been older than most of the crowd at the concert. Times flies when we're having fun.

This was the day Kurt realised he was famous after meeting some friend from Aberdeen before this show.
  • Man, how neat would it be if Krist and Dave would make a video together of them reacting to their old performances :'(.

The original show was to 3 customers. Everyone you see in the audience now are time travelers.

According to an article in the New York Times Beehive Records, Seattle SEPT. 16, 1991 What was supposed to be an acoustic in-store performance ahead of the release of “Nevermind” turned into a full-band onslaught, with fans moshing in the store. Ms. Warnick recalled the band’s earlier celebration at Re-bar in Seattle. “They had a food fight,” she said, “and got kicked out of their own record release party.”

I remember going to great lengths to search for this in the early days of the internet, and now here it is on YouTube.

I wonder if the people in the audience could feel what was going to happen when listening to this song for the very first time there...

I was stationed at Ft Lewis and saw them in a bar in Seattle before they became them. I also saw Griffey Jr and Sr play together in the same outfield. And Randy Johnson’s no-hitter against Detroit. Used to shout “hey Kid, do a trick!” and Griffey would look back and spin his glove on his finger.

Amazing clip. This made my day. After seeing this clip, who could have known what the future was about to show them...? I mean, the song is a truly masterpiece. It's brilliant!

Amazing thanks! thumbs up to the guy who brought the camcorder 👍

The camera man obviously had no idea what a beast Grohl is on the drums or he would have shot film on the other side of the room. That's about all you can hear from this gig is the destruction of drum heads.
