  • Aaaaaand they failed. They went fully back to carvery and lowered the prices even further on customers request. The owner didn't have any backbone... dammit... They closed in 2008 btw... one year after this video was shot. It became a Tapas restaurant, that closed in 2010. And in 2012 it was finally up for sale and sold in 2017 for 350 grand. The new owner tried to turn it into apartments but got rejected... it looks like it stands empty to this day. What a shame.

"Bastard" "Sorry?!" "Not you, the oven" Smiles

Gordon shakes everybody's hand like a true gentleman -- then proceeds to absolutely insult the living shit out of them.
  • @dylanyewest534
The confession scene is so gold with Gordon as the priest and the employees as the sinners 😂
  • @emmmannn3960
Note to self: If you see Gordon in a restaurant or Hotel immediately check out
  • the pure PANIC in the chefs eyes when Gordon asks what he's studying “...... cooking....” NAILED IT
  • Gordon: "Dont get this the wrong way, but this is idiot proof." Crew: fails

Finally, someone on the show said what everyone watching is thinking. "Why didn't you clean up this place knowing that Gordon Ramsay is coming?"
  • Something disgusting exists Gordon: I should stick my hand in that
  • @kflash17
at this rate, his camera crew knows more about food service than most chefs he's dealing with.
  • You gotta admit it's kinda impressive. Dude bought it and withing SIX WEEKS was in danger of closing
  • @fuzzwobble
Matt: "I can't understand why you guys left it [like that] knowing that Gordon was coming back this morning." I am CONSTANTLY thinking this when I see these episodes. They never clean the kitchen before he arrives, so everybody in their area gets a televised deterrence. It blows my mind.

Something absolutely nasty: exists Gordon: Let me just touch it
  • @grandom7116
Imagine eating at a restaurant and then you hear Gordon Ramsay say "SHUT IT DOWN"

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. I vastly prefer the British version of this show to the American version. It has everything to do with the editing. The American version does many more fast cuts, out-of-order splices, zoom-ins, adds suspenseful music, lot of unnecessary audio meant to induce anxiety in the watcher. This version is much calmer, but you still get Gordon’s intensity. I think it’s perfect.

"Bastard!" "SORRY?" "Not you, my oven." I'm dying XD

That one kid with the long hair actually makes me feel so bad. He seems like he’s just trying to make some money to afford to move out of his parents house and now Gordon Ramsay is in his kitchen
  • How has Gordon not been hospitalized from the food he's served
  • @channelname1019
Honestly, that confession box scene was such a better piece of filmmaking than it deserves to be.
