I went out on the boat to try a few new areas for tope fishing, but I really struggled to find mackerel for bait, but I managed to catch a lot of another species. I didn't know if this would work as bait, but it turned out to work quite well.

    Some suggestions. Get yourself a proper net. You’ll not grab a big girl by the tail. Put your reel into free spool when netting the fish and get the rod out of the holder with only the tip over the side of the boat.
