  • I’m a Bible Quizzing coach and this is gold. It encourages me to remember the reasons why we have our kids in Bible Quizzing. Memorizing the word of God has so many benefits. Praise God!

I started memorizing scripture around 40 years ago. I can now quote a little over 4,000 Bible verses. Many people today get upset and offended by a person quoting scripture. Too bad, that's their problem......

This is the first time I heard him. He seemed really calm but got me of gard when he screamed I felt the power of the word. He ain't playing.
  • It impacted me so deep that I had to write down every single word... We definitely need his word to fulfill our purpose of existing.

The first time the idea of memorizing the Bible stroke me was when I've read a book about a woman being sent to a communist prison where the only help she had (staying alone in the cell and seeing only guards and people interrogating her) were God and the Psalms and prayers she memorized at Sunday school.

Why memorise Scripture? "But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Be not rebellious like that rebellious house; OPEN your MOUTH and EAT what I give you."  (Ezekiel 2:8, ESV) 1 And he said to me, "Son of man, eat whatever you find here. EAT this SCROLL, and go, speak to the house of Israel." 2 So I OPENED my MOUTH, and he gave me this SCROLL to EAT.  (Ezekiel 3:1-2, ESV)
  • Memorizing the scriptures: Exodus 35:2 the Bible commands "Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the Lord. Whosoever doeth work therein  SHALL BE PUT TO DEATH. What about this command of "god"?

Jesus loves you and died so you can have eternal life. Repent and turn to Him because He is coming soon! He loves you!
