Death toll-but sonic.exe and knuckles sing it

Eggman straight up getting fused into his own badniks to create an abomination is both the most terrifying yet coolest idea ever. The quality of the artwork here is so freaking incredible too. I can't get enough of how beautiful Hidden Palace looks here!

I like to think that even after that finally blow that absolutely mutilated Knuckles, he wasn’t actually dead instantly and actually used the last of his strength to keep singing until the end of the song when he finally gave out.

This actually makes me feel bad for Knuckles. The hyper emeralds, his only hope to take down the demon, ARE RIGHT THERE, yet, it is impossible for him to reach them, he can try ofcourse, he will die regardless, but even for someone as though as he, fear eventually takes its place.

the fact that knuckles has the greatest chance to survive against exe head on is impressive alone. if had Eggman and Tails worked together after(somehow) they escaped from exe, they would have the greatest chance of survival thanks to their knowledge

After helping mobians all around angel island and surviving a few encounters with the monster knuckles returns to guard the chaos emeralds and the master emerald (I assume that’s what they are), the only things that still hold power in a world ruled by a god, only to find a few familiar faces waiting for him, realizing the situation, the echidna has one final stand against this.. THESE monsters he once called friends, if he was gonna go out it’d be with honor, the monster grinned as he realized knuckles arrogant self was gonna try to fight again, he always did, and it would be what got him killed, the monster would enjoy slaughtering this echidna, making them all extinct, but.. after seeing all his friends die, this echidna had the one thing keeping people alive in this world, hope, faith for survival, confidence, an ego he had long before, long before the world came to shit, his only goal now would be to end this monster or atleast end the suffering of his pears, knuckles was smarter than before, knuckles was more determined than before, knowing this is his only chance, he absorbs the Master Emerald, knuckles red attire, faded into an emerald green, he takes one look at the monsters grinning face before beginning his assault, it was clear he was forcing a smile, a smile behind a deeply unsatisfied mosnter, he knew the monster knew of his plan and that he couldn’t stop it, the echidna lifts his foot off the ground leaving only a trail of dust before he lets his fist talk.

here should be a good ending version where he COMPLETELY loses his last bit of patience and uses the emeralds and starts yelling at exe

Tails and Knuckles souls actually look like decaying husks of who they used to be... Great job to whoever designed the sprties for the characters. Each and every one of them are amazing!

Honestly yeah, Knuckles would be the last to survive. Robotnik is smart, but he sure as hell ain’t fast (disregarding S3&K), and besides, he knows sonic won’t kill him. Tails simply isn’t experienced enough to fight back, but knuckles, he’s strong willed, fast, powerful, and since this seems to be set on Angel Island, he knows the terrain best

Just like in sonic.exe games, you need all 3 of them to get the best ending. Knuckles couldn't do it all by himself
