  • That blue piece of plastic is there to prevent the top lid of the box from touching the top of the pizza.

Thousands of rounds through my PX4 Type F in 9MM, Full Size. My thoughts: [1] zero failures with all manner of ammo, brass or steel casing, FMJ or JHP, she just eats 'em right up [2] the rotating barrel is no joke and seriously mitigates recoil. Shooters of slight build, who may have had problems managing recoil with other traditional pistols, will really like this [3] Entirely appropriate for concealed carry even in full size, I find it safe and easy to deploy rapidly [4] I'm shooting the straight factory model brand new from Beretta for under $500, and I've seen the compact model around $450. Folks looking for a rock-solid reliable hammer-fired sidearm would be hard pressed to do better. JMHO.

"I believe that trigger pull sensation is more important than weight. I'd rather have a great 12lb trigger than a gritty 3lb." Indeed, and I think this bears repeating. In the current (and overly simplistic) obsession with lightweight triggers, I wish more people understood this. Of course, if the only thing one can shoot accurately is a very lightweight trigger, it also speaks volumes about that person's depth of experience and skill.

What happened to the range review? I have two of these, and they shoot great.
  • I was gifted one a while back sat in my safe for like a year. Finally shot it last week and I really enjoyed it.

The Compact Carry version of this is my daily carry. In my opinion the PX4 is a very underrated gun, especially the versions from Langdon Tactical. They are extremely flat shooting pistols and are dead nuts reliable

I recently bought a new PX4 compact at a gun show for $350. I replaced the stock hammer spring with a d spring. This brought the trigger down about a pound in both double and single action. I swapped out the decocker/safety levers for the stealth g levers which made the gun decock only. I also added Tractiongrips. Not quite a Compact Carry but I've only got about $450 in the gun and it is truly a sweet shooter.
  • I have the BERETTA PX4 CARRY and I absolutely love it! I have the 92X, as well, but I carry the PX4 LANGDON more than my GLOCKS! This gun is underrated, it fires beautifully! If y’all don’t have this, get one, you won’t regret it! GOTTA LOVE BERETTAS!

Did you ever do a follow up video? I've looked, can't find it.

The Blue Cup is to keep the box from being crushed, and to place parts while cleaning. I have a PX4 Storm Compact and the locking lug has an extension on it that goes to the front of the slide. Thus it has very little movement side to side or up and down. My Compact is one soft and flat shooting pistol.

Jumping back into Beretta with both feet I see? Very nice!

I have two of the Compact Carry pistols, and they’re great shooters. I don’t know if your pistol has a D spring, but Ernest is putting 11# Wilson Combat mainsprings in his pistols now. I installed 12# mainsprings in my pistols, and they’re 100% reliable. I have several Sig P229 and 226 pistols, and never the bore axis was too high. The PX4 sits much lower than those pistols, so you’re going to love it (hopefully). Thanks for sharing!

LOL! If you think I am filming this with my eyes...
  • I have the beretta compact carry LTT. I put a Wilson hammer spring in it which cost about five dollars and took about five minutes to do and reduced the double action Pull to 8 pounds and in the single action Pull to 3 pounds

I could be wrong, but that little purple cylinder looks like an inexpensive version of an armorer's block. Something to help you push out the pins if you ever need to completely disassemble the gun. That, or it's just a cozy for your caffe macchiato
  • @Jay_Hall
    Great production and knowledge. :)

I have to tell you this. I just went to Google to see whose front sight is on this gun. In the SERPS you were at the top in less than 30 mins from the time you posted the video! Way to go!

I have pretty much turned my stock Inox px4 into this gun before it came out. Great gun.
