Speaking of Liam Neeson, his whole point is that he thought and acted irrationally. When he realized it, he was disgusted by his actions and thoughts. That's the exact opposite of racism. If he was racist he would still embrace that behavior, but he rejected it.

In regards to Liam Neeson, anyone who can acknowledge their prejudices and violent tendencies, knows they're wrong and actively seeks help for them is okay in my book.
